Availability
I work in Carmel Monday through Friday, from 9-3, so I’m available weekday mornings/evenings, and any time over the weekend! My time is a bit more limited during the week, but on Saturdays and Sundays, I would be more than happy to provide several drop-ins/walks for your pet!

As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to keep your babies safe. Because I’ve been walking my cat for the past 6 years, I’ve had to learn how to read his body language, and the body language of the hundreds of dog’s we’ve interacted with. I’m by no means an expert, but I can often tell the difference between nervousness and excitement, stress and comfort, and anxiety and confidence. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement, respecting boundaries, and creating a loving relationship with animals. If your dog loves to constantly play tug, we’ll constantly play tug! If your cat is anxious and needs 30 minutes of playtime in order to feel relaxed around me, that’s what we’ll do! I love learning about an animal’s specific personality, and tailoring the kind of care I provide to exactly what they need!
Information Ally M. would like to know about your pet
- How do they get along with other dogs and little kids? - What is their daily routine? - What kind of walk do they like? Where’s their favorite place to go? - Where do they like/not like to be touched? - If boarding, how do they get along with cats? - Any quirks I should know about?
A typical day
Everything I do with your pet is guided by them and what their needs are! I’m a fairly active person, so I can pretty easily meet the demands of higher energy dogs, and love chilling with more mellow animals. Some things I LOVE to do with cats/dogs are: - Rollerskating! (With a small to medium, high-energy dog) - Beach walks and fetch! (Always on a long leash) - Ocean play! (If requested by owner, on calm days only) - Cat walks that include going 1/4 mile and sniffing everything - Cat toys galore! (I have a Mary Poppins bag I’ll bring with me) - Cuddles, belly rubs, and butt scratches

Pet care experience
Hello! I am an active PG resident who LOVES animals. I have a job in Carmel that I adore, but I need more dogs/cats in my life! I have a leash-trained cat who traveled the country with me for 2 years, and he’s the light of my life, but I have more love to give. I’ve been professionally/informally caring for animals my entire life. I’ve worked primarily with dogs/cats, but have also lived on several farms around the world where I cared for: donkeys, horses, cows, sheep, goats, and chickens to name a few. Raising a leash-trained cat has been an eye opening experience for me. Because of it, I’m skilled at reading an animal’s emotional state, and am often able to redirect when an unwanted behavior begins brewing. I believe in positive reinforcement, respect, and play! I have experience training both dogs and cats (yes, cats can be trained!) Some unique things I bring to the table: - 20 years of experience caring for cats. I think I’m particularly good at caring for anxious kitties, and smart/active kitties (i.e. ones that LOVE being trained). - I’m an active and strong person. I can pretty much always meet a dog’s energy needs and provide a wide variety of different exercise (rollerskating alongside them, long walks, throwing balls, tug, running around with them). - The main reason I’ve rejoined Rover is because I simply want more animals in my life! I would love to foster dogs, but my current living situation doesn’t allow for that. I LOVE when my friends go away and ask me to care for their pets, but they don’t take enough vacations! ¨̮

Reviews

Ally is simply fantastic... I have been completely pleased with her & she’s simply wonderful... she’s my main go to dog sitter & walker when I am working my 12 hour shifts or I’m out of town. I highly recommend her!
Ally is fantastic! Our Lab was in good hands.

Ally is simply amazing with my dog. She has the best personality & she is so caring & energetic. She treats my dog like her own & I would trust her with anything! She is simply a truly unique, smart, & caring person! She has an outstanding personality & always has a smile on her face. My dog loves her! I would give her 10 stars if I could!
Ally was quick to reply, professional throughout and gracious when I had to cancel the reservation due to, too many car troubles last minute. You can tell she takes this job of taking care of your pets very seriously yet keeps interactions easy and fun. Her questions about my dogs needs were thorough which always makes you feel better about leaving your pups behind. Look forward to booking her again next time a trip is planned with a healthy car! :)
