I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had a dog for the past 17 years and have cared for cats since 2003, giving me decades of experience with daily pet care routines, feeding, walking, administering basic care, and understanding animal behavior. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away, and I treat every pet like part of the family. My 12-year-old daughter also loves animals and enjoys helping with playtime, walks, and giving pets extra attention and affection (always under my supervision). We’re excited to provide reliable, loving pet care this summer!

I highly recommend Allissa as a pet caregiver on Rover. I know her both professionally through our work together at a preschool and personally as a friend. She is responsible, caring, and dependable in every area of her life. I’ve met her pets, Bear and Otto, and it’s clear how much love and attention she gives them. She has also watched and walked my dog, Maverick, and I’ve always trusted her completely with his care. I know she would provide a safe and loving environment for any pet.

Harmonogram
I’m a preschool teacher during the school year, but I will be off for the summer, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’ll have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and giving pets lots of attention throughout the day. Because I’ll be home most of the time, I’m able to provide reliable, consistent care and make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well-loved while their owners are away.

Pets staying in our home will be treated like part of the family! We have a secure fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, plus plenty of room inside to relax and feel comfortable. We do have a pool in the backyard. Bear does not like the water and does not get in. We also have a friendly dog named Bear who loves to play with other dogs but is also very calm and relaxed when it’s time to rest. Our cat has been around dogs his whole life and is very comfortable sharing the home with pets. I make sure all pets receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection while keeping their normal routines as consistent as possible so they feel safe and happy during their stay.

We feeds the animals breakfast in the morning. Mid-mornings are great for walks, before the heat of the day fully sets in. In the afternoon we can play in the backyard before dinner.
