Responsible, fun and flexible!
I am a graduate of Washington State University (class of 2013) and have recently moved to Salt Lake City near the University of Utah. Even before I joined Rover, I regularly dog/cat/house sat for many friends and family. I am very comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I’m reliable, responsible, and have a somewhat flexible schedule. I work Monday through Friday in downtown SLC, so I am able to walk/drop-in/house-sit before and after work, and on the weekends! I am also able to work from home, but still need to go into the office some days. Since I work in events, my work schedule varies day to day. I love that each animal I watch has a different personality! Some need extra attention while others prefer to do their own thing. I make sure to always do a meet and greet beforehand so that they are comfortable with me. And I always appreciate detailed care instructions that I can follow to ensure that they feel safe and loved!!

I prefer to let your cat/dog get to know me on their own time! Some are ready to be friends right away, others need some time. Building trust with an animal is so rewarding!

Honestly, we can’t say enough good things about the care Allison gave our home and our dog. We felt comfortable the entire time we were away knowing everything was OK via her communication with attached pictures. She will be our first contact when we travel again; she is an outstanding house/pet sitter, repeat, OUTSTANDING!
Allison was fantastic! This was our first time with her and she made us feel super comfortable being away from our pets for the extended weekend! We got daily pictures and know that the pets had an awesome weekend! Our house was clean and tidy when we got back and it was like we never left! Thanks a million Allison!!

Schedule
I currently work full time Monday through Friday, usually from 9-5pm. Since I work in events, I occasionally work weekends but I keep my Rover calendar updated with my availability.
