Former dog mom. Dog aunt to your pup?
Golden retriever like enthusiasm. Greyhound like relaxation skills. I live in a house near Edinburgh in a very good location near parks and green areas. This is my full time job, so I’ll be around all hours of the day to care for your pet! I've been a dog owner and lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we always had dogs as family pets and I learned from a young age the responsibilities that come with pet ownership. Some of my roles including feeding, walking, and cleaning up after the dogs, as well of course as giving them unconditional love. As an adult, I always knew I wanted to care for dogs in need, in some way. When I first moved to Seattle, I decided to foster a retired greyhound. Toby ended up being a foster fail, as I fell in love with him and couldn’t bare the thought of someone else adopting him. He also turned out to be a high-needs dog, as he had separation anxiety and some serious health problems. He required frequent walks, as well as regular vet care and medications, and luckily I had been able to work my job schedule around his needs. I also decided to foster an end-of-life dog, Sadie. She was 12 and had added another wonderful and challenging element to my life. Recently both of my dogs have passed away, and I’m looking to take care of your pup to fill the dog shaped void in my life. Since I’m dog sitting most days, I’m happy to do a quick meet and greet at a time of your choosing outside my home! I’m happy to answer any and all questions you may have. I also have a private, fenced backyard that we can use if you prefer, so that your dog is able to decompress and not have the distractions of a public area. Allison took great care of our senior galga, provided plenty of updates and was quick to respond to any messages. It was reassuring to know she has experience of sighthounds and their little quirks! We're happy our girl was made to feel at home - thank you, Allison 🙏🏻

Schedule
I’m currently working from home so I’ll be with your dogs nearly every hour of boarding! I’m able to provide regularly walks and consistent potty breaks that suit your pup’s needs

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard as well as access to green areas and even a beach! I allow dogs on all beds and furniture (as long as the owner permits) and have no problem following a strict routine if that’s what the owner prefers. I essentially love and treat each dog as it were my own!
A typical day
I’m near many trails and green areas as well as a beach! I love walking dogs through quiet neighborhoods as well as getting out into nature. I also have a backyard that we can play in in the sun or shade. It’s always fun to bring dogs who like to socialize to dog friendly cafes and restaurants occasionally for a change of scenery!
