Dog boarding on family hobby farm
I have grown up surrounded by pets and have years of experience caring for dogs. I graduated from Algonquins Vet Tech course in 2006 and worked in the field for a couple of years, as well as doing dog walking and pet sitting during that time. I currently have one dog, two cats, three horses and a rabbit. I love spending time outdoors going for walks and adventures!

We were a bit nervous leaving our 10.5yr old Lab, 1. because she is getting older, stubborn, and occasionally "whiny", and 2. since she hasn't even been in a kennel since before COVID. We met Allison and her daughter when we brought Darva for a first check suggested by Allison, that made sense to see if our dogs had innate antipathies,and could be civil with each other. All went well. A few days later we brought our dog over and left her while we had a day out of town. Allison sent us a picture of our dog to show that she was fine - and our dog was actually looking at the camera, which was unusual since she normally refuses when anyone points a "soul-sucker" in her direction, and turns her head away We found the care and the place good for our dog and know that Allison did all she could to alleviate any of our concerns..
Allison and her family were nothing short of excellent. First time I’ve seen Taco stick around being happy instead of being anxious about us leaving him somewhere. Tons of fun updates and pictures too! Will book again.
Looks like Sophie really enjoyed her visit with Allison. Definitely will use her again. She updated us daily with a pix of Sophie.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience. It was our first time using Rover so I was a little apprehensive but after meeting Allison I knew Gia was in great hands. Lovely to communicate with and took great care of our Gia. She came back a happy girl and would definitely recommend Allison.
Allison took great care of our senior dog Rudy. She gave regular updates and was great to communicate with. I wouldn't hesitate to have Rudy stay with her again!
Amazing communication, kindness, and more for our pooch Shabazz. Thank you Allison for making Shabazz feel like he was home.

Schedule
I start the day with a little outside time. If I’m off to work dogs stay in their crate or can be left in smaller area of the house. Otherwise we will be off for walks, a game of fetch or other fun activities your dog may like.

I have a fenced in backyard and 10 acres of fields and forest trails on a quiet dirt road. I currently have one dog who loves having a buddy to go for walks with!
Pets
A typical day
I love to go for walks and explore the fields and woods, or play a game of fetch. We have great access to swimming as well. I have a pug so snuggling on the couch and curling up by the fire are also favourites!
