I am a student at the University of Idaho, but M/W/F before 8:30, and after 1:30 I am available to book any service! Tuesday’s I am free to give my undivided attention to any pup or cat! Usually my afternoons consist of homework and taking my own puppy on walks and to the park to play fetch. So taking care of animals and putting my time forward to pets is not second nature, it’s a routine! I make sure I keep my pup on a specific time of eating and walking during the week so she does not get stressed out or worried.

I have a large dog crate in my home that can be used. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a large field behind me that me and a pet can go and play in. My house already has one pup who gets along with any type of dog and is very passive. She is not a huge cat lover.

A typical day
I love to take them on long walks to new places they have never been, including around new neighborhoods, the park, hiking trails, to go chase birds on nature preserves, and go take a swim if they want! I love getting outdoors especially when I can bring a buddy with me. When it is too yucky outside, I love to make puzzles for dogs and play hide and seek to burn their mental energy they need to get out too!

Pet care experience
I have had a plethora of dogs growing up all ranging from little Pomeranians to cattle driven Border Collies to Great big Danes! In my four years of pet experience, I worked with two Cane Corso’s training, walking, cleaning up all their drool, washing them, and overnight watching them from puppies together till I had to sadly leave them to come to school this year. I watched them everyday for 5+ hours, taking them on walks and always was willing to drive them to the mountains because I know how much they love the snow. I am willing to take your dogs anywhere to reach their maximum happiness and the 10,000 steps dogs need too! I never missed a day of sitting them and if I had to miss one, I always made sure to rely that information with plenty of time ahead. I am in the agriculture industry, and am strong enough and not afraid to deal with reactive and high energy dogs, since I have experience with both. I would love to see the adventures I can take your pets on!

Allison has been walking my reactive pup, Bodi, for several weeks now. Because of Allison's gentle and calm demeanor, Bodi was comfortable with her right away. She has experience with reactive dogs and listened attentively to my specific instructions on how I manage Bodi's reactivity. She applies her experience, intuition and knowledge of dog body language to keep him under threshold. Allison is a treasure and I wish she could be Bodi's life-long dog walker!
Allison watched my 14 year old lab, my 10 year old drama queen shitzu, my two cats, and my three year old husky. I was scared to let someone watch my animals because they are escape artists, but I know Allison personally and knew she was the woman for the job. She was at my house tending to them more than I asked of her. She took my husky and lab on separate walks because my old lab would not be able to keep up. She texted me many photos during her time watching them and they looked so happy! I’m very glad I took the risk and trusted Allison to take care of my family. She is very responsible, timely, and caring. I will definitely be having her watch them again!
