My background includes working in animal shelters, where I cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, managed safe play groups, and provided enrichment for high-energy pups. I’ve also handled dogs with a wide range of needs—from seniors and special-needs pets to those with medical or behavioral challenges. In addition to shelter work, I have extensive experience with private pet sitting and walking. I’ve cared for countless pets in their homes, following detailed instructions, administering medications (oral, topical, intranasal, and more), and making sure each animal stays safe, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. I’m comfortable with everything from shy cats to large, strong dogs who need confident handling. Consistency is key for pets, so I do my best to mirror your pet’s routine and preferences to keep them comfortable. The more details you share about feeding, walking, training, and play, the better I can provide seamless care. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking, and I treat every pet with the same care and respect as if they were my own.

Allison is wonderful. She booked with us on a last minute request and took incredible care of our two large dogs! Highly recommend and will be a returning customer. On top of that she is an incredible artist, she left us with a pet sketch.

Allison is amazing and I can’t say enough how much we appreciate how reliable and responsive she is as a sitter. We got regular updates and pictures and even our very skittish chihuahua warmed up to her. She takes very good care of everything and went above and beyond helping with giving medication for our cat who just had surgery. The frequent updates and pictures really made us feel comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Thank you!

Schedule
I have a highly flexible schedule and am available most days for dog walking, drop-ins, and house sitting. Because of this, I can often accommodate last-minute requests — perfect for busy owners who need reliable backup care!

- I have hands-on experience with a wide range of behavioral needs, including separation anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding. Please share as much as you can about your pet’s routines, personality, and triggers so I can provide the best care possible. I am also comfortable with a variety of training tools (e.g., slip leads, prong collars, e-collars) and I use them safely, correctly, and only if you request it. If you prefer no tools, that’s perfectly fine too — my priority is respecting your training choices and your animal's well-being.
