I am available most weekdays as well as most weekends! I may limit the number of bookings I take on each day to allow to time care for my own, but my schedule is very flexible and I can work with you to find the best routine!

I cannot currently bring any pets into my own home, but I am comfortable picking up and dropping off at your home with proper instruction. Additionally, I always double check that water is provided, they are securely crated if needed, and leashes/collars are properly secured/removed when we head out for walks.

A typical day
Mental stimulation is just as important as physical play! Walks always include plenty of time to sniff (aka, a sniffari!) and with your permission, I also love to include short training sessions to challenge their brain.

Big or small, I love them all! As an avid pet-lover since a young age, I've spent all of my young, adult, and professional life around animals. I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Animal Science, so I am well versed in nutrition, anatomy, physiology, communication, and training and have since worked as a veterinary assistant in small animal clinics and as a caretaker for exotic animals. I've gained a lot of experience around dogs of various breeds as a foster parent for my local shelters, and I now raise two of my own (a mutt and a Border Collie!) that always keep me on my toes. I have experience with all ages, breeds, sizes, and needs and am comfortable administering medication if needed.

I highly recommend Allison as a fantastic dog walker! She has been walking my dog, for the past 2 months, and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention she provides. My dogs Tofu and Schnitz are always so excited to see Allison, and I can tell that they genuinely loves spending time with her. Allison is a dog mom herself, so she's well equipped to handle my rowdy puppy Tofu and my grumpy senior Schnitz. I would highly recommend her for any dog walk big or small!
Allie is a literally amazing ! Leaving my fur babies (1 dog and my very special needs cat (who is deaf and requires challenging medication) for two weeks while I traveled was something I had always dreaded. From our first interaction, Allie's genuine love for animals shone through, and she immediately put my mind at ease. She told me she also had worked in zoos in the past, has a degree in animal science, and has two dogs of her own, so she definitely fit the bill for someone I felt comfortable watching my pets! She’s very qualified. Throughout my trip, Allie was fantastic with communication. I appreciated the regular photo updates of my fur children – it was such a comfort seeing them thriving in her care. Knowing she was also diligently handling my cat's medication was a huge weight off my shoulders. It takes a truly patient and attentive person to manage that, and Allie did so flawlessly. It's clear that Allie is not just someone who walks dogs or feeds cats; she is a truly wonderful and caring pet owner herself. Her dedication and the obvious affection she showed my fur children were remarkable. I will absolutely be reaching out to Allie again for any future pet-sitting needs – she has earned my complete trust, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry family members!
