Availability
My only work commitment is to youth soccer coaching in the evenings a few days each week, so I’m wide open! I typically am available for morning, midday, and many afternoon visits. I intentionally limit the number of bookings I accept so that every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and individualized care rather than feeling rushed.

Safety, trust & environment
My first priority is to the pet’s safety. Before each booking, it helps to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, behavior needs, and anything else you feel it’s important to know. I also understand that every animal is different—some want lots of playtime while others simply want calm companionship. Having my own dog means I understand the dynamics and expressions of caring for a dog, but the more info you can give me the better! I always want to make sure you feel really comfortable knowing that your dog is safe and happy with me.
Information Allison M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, favorite toys or activities, and any fears, anxieties, or behavioral quirks. I’d also like to know how they do around other dogs or people, whether they have any allergies or medical conditions, and any commands or training cues they already know. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can help your pet feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so it really depends on their personality and energy level. For active dogs, that might mean neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or playtime in the yard or at the park. For older or more relaxed pets, we might just enjoy being outside together or cuddling on the couch. Every dog should expect lots of affection and love :) With my own dog, we often play tug and chase outside and practice simple commands inside like sit, touch, and lay down. We’re working on “spin” right now! My preference is to help accommodate the routine your dog is used to already so they feel secure and confident.

Pet care experience
Hey, I’m Allison! Certified dog lover and experienced pet sitter. I grew up with a family dog, I previously cared for dogs through Rover after college, and now I spend a big portion of my days raising and training my own pup, Pickles. I’m pretty much a caregiver by nature, but that muscle has grown exponentially since adopting my own dog. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, and I treat every animal with the same patience and attention I give my own. So whether your dog loves long walks, games of fetch, sniffing activities, or simply curling up with company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved. Outside of pet care, I’m a youth soccer coach, so I’m used to being active, dependable, and organized. I also previously worked as a direct care worker in mental health, which really built my patience, attentiveness, and nurturing abilities—qualities that carry over naturally into caring for pets. I’m crazy about receiving photos of my own dog when I’m away, so you can expect the same from me along with plenty of honest communication. When you book with me, you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands! I look forward to meeting you and your loved one! :)
Reviews
Allison did a great job. When we saw our dog he looked like he had lots of fun and has been taking care of very well. Allison is very kind and caring person. I would recommend her services to others. Thank you
Allison is responsible, diligent, and conscientious. She will do a thorough job of taking care of your pets and she has much experience taking care of dogs and animals in general. I observed her diligently caring for her family dog, Maizy, for many years. She also took care of several dogs while completing her undergraduate degree. Allison has the ability to run a busy schedule and still make sure that she is following through in providing ample care for pets that are placed in her charge. She would be an excellent choice for a sitter.
Allison is a great asset to anyone needing care for their dog. She has a compasssionate and caring heart combined with common sense and quick thinking, so your pet would definitely be in good hands! She has had her own dog, Maizy, whom she lovingly cared for throughout her life until she left for college. She is well experienced and knowledgeable and I highly recommend Allison for any dog owner!
In need of a trustworthy care-giver to tend to your beloved canine? Allison is your girl! A lover of all things dog, Allison will go above and beyond to make sure your pet's needs are met. She is careful, responsible, and honest, having held many jobs that require her to exhibit patience and care. Allison also loves to be outside, which ensures that she will be having fun as she helps your pet get enough exercise and feel loved. I would not hesitate to hire Allison to care for my pets-- she is a great fit!
