Veterinary CPR Certified Caregiver

NOTE: At this time, my boarding service is reserved exclusively for breeds or mixed breeds commonly regarded as hypoallergenic. If you’re unsure if your dog meets this requirement, just ask! Hi! I’m so glad you’ve come across my profile and I can’t wait to hear more about your pet care needs. My name is Allison, and I’ve cared for animals for over two decades. I live with my husband, and we currently have no children, furry or otherwise. My experience is in providing senior care, special needs care, task-training, enrichment activities, and basic life support (BLS). I also regularly volunteer at the Wake County Animal Center to help care for the dogs there. My rescued pup, Sylvie, passed away several years ago after having lived out her senior years full of love and comfort. It was such a privilege to care for her in her golden years, and I have yet to adopt another dog since her passing. Needless to say, there is a special place in my heart for senior animals.

Safety, trust & environment

To provide the safest environment for dogs in my care, I board only one client’s dog(s) at any given time. Pups in my care get the opportunity to play and run around in my home’s fenced backyard. The yard is enclosed by a 5-ft tall wooden fence and I closely supervise outdoor play, so even known escape artists can explore safely. I am also certified through the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) in RECOVER Veterinary CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS).

Allison was amazing with Buddy and Max. Great communication and care and our pups were happy and tired from playing. We are so grateful for the great care and love they received. I absolutely trust Allison with my fur babies again.

Zuri is so comfortable with Allison and we never have to worry. She spoils her and takes care of her as if she was her own! I love it and Zuri does too.

Allison is always great with our 2 pups. This is our second time booking with her! We had a few hiccups with our trip timing but she was so patient and understanding with us. Highly recommend her! Thank you again

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I work mainly from my home, so my boarding clients can rest assured that their dogs are receiving quality care from a sitter that has the time to care properly for them. My most popular service is boarding, but I also offer drop-ins and walks. My business hours are between 8am and 9pm. You can find me at home, volunteering at the Wake County Animal Center, or at client visits in the Raleigh area when I’m not out exploring everything our beautiful state has to offer.

Every dog has behavioral quirks and I’d like to know about them! Do they have any behavioral challenges? Dog-aggressive? Leash reactive? Bite history? I also like to know about your dog’s medical disposition. Do they have special needs? Allergies? Medication? Are they up-to-date on their veterinary care regimen? In the warmer months, are they protected against fleas/ticks? Are they on heartworm prevention? No need to answer these questions right away, but expect me to ask questions like these at our meet-&-greet. I look forward to meeting you soon!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
