I will listen and observe how your pet is reacting, so that I can make them as comfortable as possible. I will ensure that your pet is safe by assessing situations beforehand and always being aware of surroundings. I will listen to instructions or concerns from pet parents regarding their pet and apply them accordingly. I will update you with photos, videos, and texts, think of it like a diary entry, so you can see how your pet is doing during my visits or stay.

A typical day
I would love to keep them on their regular eating and play schedule, so they aren’t anxious from a new routine. For dogs, I encourage long walks, lots of sniffing/exploring with their nose, and playing fetch. For cats, I like to add in playtime, petting, and cuddles. Fun fact: 15 minutes of sniffing is the same stimulation as 30 minutes of physical exercise for dogs!

I’m a HUGE animal lover and have grown up around all different breeds of dogs and cats. One of my favorite traditions as a child was watching the annual dog and cat shows on tv, so it’s no surprise that I ventured out of 5 years crafting coffee into pet care. I started taking care of household pets as an adolescent, pet sitting for friends in college, and now operate professionally which is a dream! I found a lot of joy in volunteering for SEGA (South Eastern Greyhounds of America) in my youth where I socialized and walked greyhounds that were rescued retired racers. I have rescued and fostered countless cats as well and have found purpose along with joy through that work. I’m familiar and comfortable with different animal temperaments and behaviors throughout all stages of pet life. I pride myself on always listening to owner requests and maintaining a strong owner/sitter relationship with mutual respect. My clients and their pets become like family to me and I treat every animal with compassion as if they are my own. I’m a fellow pet owner, I rescued my cat from the shelter as an owner surrender back in 2016, so I absolutely understand the responsibility of being a pet caretaker. I look forward to demonstrating my compassion, empathy, and hard working attitude with you and your pet!

Allison is extremely professional, knowledgeable about breeds types, and gives you that reassurance that your pet will be in good hands. This is my first time using Rover and going outside of my family to care for Kuma. Dogs can be suspicious of strangers, but Allison was able to get Kuma to eat treats out of her hand. I look forward to continuing working with her.
Allison was incredible with our dog Nutmeg! Nutmeg can be very shy with people but she warmed up to Allison right away! Allison took the time to make nutmeg comfortable with her and kept us updated a ton about their weekend! Our apartment looked great when we got back too!
Allison is always so amazing with our kitties! This was our third time booking with her, and we were pleased as always. She sent plenty of updates, photos, and she left our apartment looking nicer than when we left! I highly recommend if anyone needs an overnight sitter.
