I am currently on summer vacation, so my schedule is quite open until I go to college in September. Even then, I plan to come home frequently on weekends and school breaks, though my availability will become more limited in the fall.

Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do, but I also take the responsibility seriously and will ensure that all of their needs are met and they are feeling safe and happy until you come home to them.

A typical day
I really enjoy spending time with both high and low energy animals, so I will plan activities with your pet based on their own personality. I would be happy to play games or practice tricks with them, or to groom and cuddle them, and of course to take them on long or short walks.

By working as a volunteer at the Ventura County Animal Shelter for over three years, I have gained lots of experience working with dogs and cats. Through the volunteer program, I have received multiple levels of professional training to work with dogs of all kinds, including fearful or reactive ones, and have passed assessments to qualify as an experienced handler. Although I am unable to keep dogs or cats in my home, I have always loved animals, and have worked privately as a pet sitter in addition to my experience as an animal shelter volunteer.

Allison took care of my cat for two days. She was on time for her visits, and did an excellent job following my directions. She is a good communicator, responsible, and good mannered young woman. I won’t hesitate to hire her again.
I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! She took care of my 2 kitties like they were her own, kept me updated with adorable pics, and I came home to happy relaxed pets. Highly recommend!
