I spent 8 years as a full time CVT at a downtown cat/dog animal hospital. Handling all responsibilities from kennel care to monitoring surgery and worked my way up to Tech Manager in my time there. I am currently working full time but manage my day around your pets needs to my best ability. Most of my pet sitting has been for pets requiring medication(i.e. diabetics, heart disease) or special handling due to reactivity to others. Rate changes could apply based on pet needs. A happy pet is my main goal. We will enjoy what they like to do. Some activities in the past have included fetch, "running" through the house (when allowed), walks, and any snuggles they choose to dish my way! In addition, feedings will be followed as instructed, fresh water daily. Long stays or daily visits are welcome. I have sat households of many sizes, from a single pet to six. Dogs of all sizes. Additional pets; furry, feathered, or scaled. Scheduling in advance is suggested, holidays book early and quickly.

I maintain all routines with pets while owners are gone to ensure everyone’s safety. Also, spend the time to learn each pet and what their pastime likes and dislikes are.

Allison was absolutely wonderful with our French bulldog and two cats. As protective pet parents, this was our first time leaving all three of them in someone else’s care, so naturally we were a little apprehensive. Allison immediately put us at ease by offering two consultation visits before our trip so she could thoroughly understand our pets’ individual needs, routines, personalities, and home environment. That level of preparation and genuine care meant a lot to us. Throughout our vacation, Allison was incredibly attentive and responsive. She arrived early and kept us updated with multiple messages and plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she wasn’t simply checking in on our pets, but genuinely caring for them and making sure they were happy and comfortable. She even went above and beyond by offering thoughtful advice for our continued care of the pets, which we really appreciated. You can tell Allison truly loves animals and takes the responsibility of caring for them seriously. She also left the house tidy and in great shape. It was such a small gesture, but after coming home from a long trip, walking into a clean and tidy home made a bigger difference than she probably realized. We came home to three happy, well-cared-for pets and felt completely comfortable knowing they were in Allison’s hands. She helped make our vacation so much more enjoyable because we never had to worry about how things were going at home. We would absolutely recommend Allison and will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Allison, for taking such wonderful care of our babies and allowing us to have such a relaxing vacation. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!
Allison has helped us with over night stays twice now and she is SO great! Very responsive and Peyton loves her!

Schedule
I currently work full time but most shifts are 7am-3pm or 9-5. I can often step away for lunch breaks if your home is near by but I may not always be able to make it back for a midday break. Has not been an issue for dogs who are used to parents who leave for work or often works when a dog walker is already involved.
