Pet care experience
Loving care when you’re not there!
I’ve been caring for pets since I was about 10 years old, starting with the dogs and cats of family, friends, and neighbors. Whether they were away on vacation or needed help during busy times, I’ve always treasured the time spent with every animal I’ve looked after. I have experience administering oral medications, as my own dog takes daily anxiety meds. My parents' dogs are also on multiple medications, and I’ve cared for a neighbor’s dog who required pain management after ACL surgery. I’ve personally cared for my own dog post-emergency surgery (due to bladder stones), as well as both my parents’ and neighbors’ dogs following ACL surgeries. I’m comfortable supporting dogs with anxiety or fear-based behaviors. Both my dog and my parents’ dog are fearful, so I’ve spent time working on confidence-building exercises and training to reduce reactivity—especially during walks. I’ve also taken both to vet appointments and worked closely with veterinary staff to create calm, positive experiences for everyone involved. Additionally, I’ve helped my mom with numerous foster pets from the rescue she works with. This has given me hands-on experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—including one of our “foster fails,” who had spent three years in a hoarding situation and wouldn’t leave her crate for days. With time, patience, and love, she has blossomed into a playful, affectionate dog who now loves belly rubs, butt scratches, and snuggling in bed. Caring for animals is truly a passion of mine. I’d love the opportunity to be a safe, loving, and reliable presence for your pets while you’re away.

Allison came to the rescue for me during a family emergency. She responded quick and was so patient with my shy baby. And took care of my crazy boy. I’m very grateful she acted so fast and loved on my pups instead of just letting them out.
Allison is an animal lover. She has cared for my 3 dogs as well as helped with multiple foster dogs I’ve had and is so patient and kind with them all. She treats her personal dog like her child and does everything to give him the best life ever. I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting their pet treated like family while they can’t be with them.

I recently relocated to Florida for my husbands job and I am currently not working so I have plenty of time to make friends with your furbabies!! I do have my own pup who I walk each morning and sometime in the evening, however, outside of this I have no other obligations and would love to spend some of my free time entertaining and caring for other pets!

In my home my dog is treated as a member of the family and I will treat every pet I care for in the same way! My dog is allowed on all furniture and sleeps in bed with me, however, I understand others may prefer their pets to remain off furniture. I am happy to follow any special instructions to ensure your pets routine remains in place while I am with them.

I love to entertain pets mentally and physically through playtime, sniffing, walks, and games such as puzzle feeders/snuffle mats/lick mats.
