I am an avid walker and I am patient. I care about animals, so I make sure I walk dogs earlier or later, when it is not too hot for their paws. I take client instructions and tips for treating their pet seriously, regarding temperament, likeliness to run off while on a walk, etc. I like to give pets ample attention so they are less anxious while their family is not home. I give pets space if they are giving off the vibe of wanting to be left alone, after I make sure their basic needs (and more!) are met.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or temperament concerns around humans or other animals. My mom's beloved dog is wonderful to humans but so bossy to other dogs, but that doesn't mean we don't love her, so I understand any possible temperament concerns you may have!
A typical day
I can play with your animal and I can take your dogs (or cat, I don't judge!) on walks on their normal route or we can explore a new route! After a nice walk, if a toy is available I’d be happy to spend time with that.

Pet care experience
I’ve helped my family take care of our pets my entire life. Growing up, my neighbors and family friends trusted me to take care of their pets while they were out of town. I can administer medicine to your furry best friends and I am a fast learner if I need to be trained a special way to administer the medicine. I have cared for high maintenance, elderly pets, and puppies with gentle care. I genuinely love animals and hope to hang out with some.

I can't say enough about Allison. I had never left my 3 little dogs before, and I was so nervous. She was very understanding and listened to all of my silly instructions about each dog. They had a great time in her care (I could tell by all the pictures she sent). I was very relieved and grateful when I picked them up and they were not upset at me at all!
Loki had a blast and was super tired which is always good. Will definitely look into rebooking in the future. Thanks for being awesome!
Allison does a super job of taking care of my dog when we need her and my dog LOVES her! She updates me with photos and reports while we are gone and gives my dog excellent care including walks, tooth brushing, and snuggles. She is flexible, reliable, and competent - great pet sitter!
