Loving Pet Care with Household Help
For the past two years, I've had the pleasure of pet sitting for family members, treating their pets like they’re my own. Growing up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, I've been around them my whole life and have cared for them through all stages — from playful puppies to loving senior dogs. I love going the extra mile by helping with things like fetching the mail or taking out the trash, so your home is just as you left it when you return. Your pets will feel safe, loved, and cared for in my hands!

I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own because I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable looking after your furry family. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, walk, or house sitting stay, I always follow your instructions closely for feeding, watering, medication, and routines. While I do work a flexible casual job and occasionally work from home, I plan my schedule around your pet’s needs to ensure they receive consistent care and attention throughout the day. When I am house sitting, I do not work my in-person job at all so I can remain fully available for your pet’s routine. I try to take pets on daily walks (weather permitting and appropriate for their age, breed, and mobility) and always make time for play, enrichment, and companionship to keep them happy and comfortable. I also respect your home—leaving everything exactly as it was—and can assist with small tasks like taking out the trash or bringing in mail and packages.

Allison is a GREAT dog sitter. She goes above and beyond to communicate how the dogs are doing while she is with them with multiple updates and pictures. She was able to give medication to our dog after getting dental surgery. She is the best!
Allison house sat at our house for 10 days and did a wonderful job with our 3 dogs and 1 cat. One of the dogs was a 5 month old puppy that ended up being far more challenging than anticipated but Allison went above and beyond and took the challenges in stride. We came back to healthy pets and a clean house.

Schedule
I’m currently working a very flexible casual job, as well as from home for a few hours 1–2 days a week, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. My schedule is highly adjustable, and I’m able to offer consistent daytime availability for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. During weeks when I am house sitting, I do not work my in-person job at all so I can be fully present and meet all of your pet’s needs. At this time, I do not service inner-city areas of Pittsburgh. This includes neighborhoods such as: Lawrenceville, Bloomfield, Shadyside, Oakland, East Liberty, Squirrel Hill, South Side, the Strip District, the North Shore, and the North Side.

- I like to make sure I have all the details about your pets so I can provide the best care possible. Please let me know if your pet takes any medications, has any aggression issues, or has special needs like mobility challenges. I’d also like to know how they react to strangers, how comfortable they are with new people, and any other important behaviors I should be aware of. Additionally, it would be helpful to know how many pets you have, their size, breed, and any specific care preferences they may have.
