I have experience working as a dog trainer as well as having worked in several different veterinary clinics throughout my 20's as a technician assistant, physiotherapy tech, and receptionist. I have extensive experience with caring for special needs animals and am able to help with both geriatric and post-surgical dogs and cats. I've raised several puppies as my own pets throughout my adult life, as well as having experience raising kittens and baby bunnies. I have rescued some domesticated birds in the past, and have even rehabilitated some non-domesticated animals. Additionally, I was a 4-H kid in elementary and middle school where I developed extensive knowledge of animal husbandry for a wide variety of animals. I would love to help provide the best care possible for your furry (feathered, or scaled) family members, whether that be regular help with walks, drop-in visits with them during the week, or making sure they stay happy, healthy, and entertained while you're away on vacation. 🌱🌤🌷

I am able to provide basic medical care such as oral and injected medications or IV fluids, I can help with exercises and care for pets recovering from a wide variety of surgeries, I am capable of assisting with continued training (on request), and I have over 10 years of professional pet care experience, both in veterinary clinics and other settings, that have provided me with experience in identifying any worrisome signs or symptoms of illness or disease.

Ally was wonderful and took such good care of our cranky, elderly, diabetic cat. She requires insulin injections and is wary of strangers, but warmed up to Ally within a couple days. The updates were so helpful, we didn't have to worry at all while we were out of town. Thank you so much Ally!
Our dog has a hard time with new people and she LOVES Allison. She is so kind and is so amazing with communication. She watched our dog while we were gone for our wedding and sent us cute photos and eased any dog related anxiety I was having. Will be using her again in the future for sure!

Schedule
This is currently my full-time source of income, meaning that I will have lots of time to dote on your pet(s). I do have some regular dog walking and drop-in visit clients, so I will often be out and about making visits between the hours of 11am -4pm. If your pet needs potty breaks or medications during those hours, I am very proactive about taking that into account and planning my day around those needs. I am a very active person and love to hike and be outside. I do myself have a family comprised of my husband and our 12-year-old son, as well as our dog (Freya), cat (Farrukh), bunny (Rogue), and our fish and menagerie of plants. As such, I will likely need to leave your pet at some points throughout their care for tasks such as drop-off/pick-up of my son from school, running errands, checking in with the fam, etc. For 'House Sitting', I may leave for 4-6 hours at some points, with longer increments being discussed prior to booking to make sure that they are compatible with the care you need and desire for your pet(s). *If your pet requires CONSTANT CARE (can not be left alone for more than 3-hours at a time), please state this during your booking as this will incur an additional charge for multiple day stays.
