Triple-threat petsitter

I've had a deep love for all animals as long as I can remember (especially dogs) and have gained a lifetime of knowledge & experience along the way through multiple spheres - personal, professional, volunteering, & more. I've worked with countless dogs across a wide variety of ages/sizes/breeds/personalities/health conditions/behavior types/etc., as well as cats, most other types of pets, some livestock, and even exotics/zoo animals. Certain aspects of my education (especially college) have also significantly impacted how I understand & work with animals, and even though I'm no expert, I definitely appear to have more than an average amount of experience with dogs who have special needs/higher intelligence/strong personalities/aren't exactly the best behaved/haven't had certain training/etc. -- so if you've struggled to find/keep a petsitter who can handle more difficult situations/challenging animals/etc... No matter what type of pet/s you have, I've got the head, heart, and physicality to give them the best level of care. And if they require something I haven't actually done before, I'm happy to learn and am usually a quick study. I hold myself to the highest moral/ethical code (so you won't find anyone more trustworthy), and always strive to be as honest, open, patient, kind, reliable, flexible as I possibly can - with all of you! I've always been a big believer in forging the best relationship I can with those I work with, no matter what job I had...so I really want to partner with you, get to know your pet/s & learn everything about them & their life with you, in order to make sure that I can love & care for them almost as if you were with them instead!

I have not met a better pet sitter than Allison! She is thorough and will make sure your fur babies are taken care of. I would trust her to watch my kitties any time she is available! 😊

Allison has been an asset as I've brought a puppy home while working full time. She has helped with enforcing good habits as Loki adjusts to a new home and gets trained. Plus it's a nice break during the long work day for him to have someone to play with.

House Sitting • juin 08, 2021

Allison was a life saver for our last minute house sitting needs! She was great with our dogs and very accommodating to their specific needs. Our dogs needed to be kept separate as one has had recent ACL surgery and needs to take things slow. Allison did a great job juggling them and keeping us updated while we were away.

I like to know as much as possible about any animal in my care ahead of time, so that we can avoid potential issues/minimize stress as much as possible while you're away. I think of my job in the same context as how a qualified babysitter would dialogue with the parent/s before taking a child into their care. Since you can't be there, I want to be the next best thing! No breed preferences, just some subtle proclivities like everyone has. But it should be said that my physical build & knowledge/experience means I'm better equipped to handle bigger and/or stronger dogs that a lot of sitters can't (or won't).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
