When I’m not caring for my own pets, I’m caring for the pets of my clients, family, and friends. I spend most of the day with the animals in my care—usually 18–24 hours-because I know how much it helps them feel safe and settled. I adhere to each pet’s normal routine to keep stress low while their family is away, and I’m always happy to follow any special requests. Whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable, I’m here to make it happen.

A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet’s world feeling familiar and safe. I follow their usual routine — meals, walks, playtime, quiet time — so their day feels as close to ‘normal’ as possible while you’re away. I love learning about the activities, quirks, and comforts that make your pet happiest, and I build our day around those things. Whether they’re playful, cuddly, shy, or independent, I make sure they feel understood, entertained, and cared for until you’re back home.

I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to understand animals—how they think, how they feel, and what helps them feel safe and cared for. That curiosity has shaped my entire life with animals. I’ve strengthened that love through years of hands‑on work as a veterinary nurse and through animal‑focused pre‑ and post‑graduate studies. My post‑graduate work in companion animal behavior allows me to provide your pet(s) with personalized care designed to make them feel comfortable and at ease. I use everything I’ve learned over the years to support pets gently and thoughtfully, just the way I’d want someone to care for my own.

Allie did an excellent job with cat care. I have a a cat who needs medication 2x a day, another indoor cat and an outside cat. We had her do overnights and she was wonderful! I highly recommend her for your pets. I’ll be using her again.
Allie was terrific - gave our pets much loving, frequent update photos and reassuring comments. Kept our home tidy and laundered her sheets and towels in time for our return. Highly recommend.
