Your dog is my new best friend!
I've been a dog person since I was born. In 2018 I did Rover full time but now I do it part time for the love of it! I’ve watched an array of dogs from shy and scared to friendly and cuddly. I grew up with a yellow lab and I rescued a lab/husky mix so I am familiar with big dog breeds. I am absolutely the person on the street that notices your dog before I notice you! I enjoy Rover because I am unable to fully commit to having my own and pet sitting fulfills my need for pup interaction for the time being. I currently own a bengal cat whom I adore, he has the personality of a dog quite honestly and has given me great real world experience in pet ownership. I currently work a full time job but it is remote, so your pet will have round the clock care while with me! On the weekends I will occasionally do activities with my friends or go out to dinners but I would never leave your pet alone for more than the time you ask (or I would take your pet along if acceptable!) I try to make my home environment as close to your pet’s home environment. If they are allowed on the furniture with you, it’s all right by me! If they stay in a crate while alone then they would stay in a crate at my place while alone. I also will stick to any potty break schedule. I will never let your dog off leash unleash outside unless you have specified they can be off leash or if we are in a gated dog park. Pantry doors will stay closed and the trash can will stay hidden under the sink for those sneakier pups

A typical day
Your dog would be going on walks with me all the time and go on visits to the dog park. If they are trained to be off the leash we would go visit a large field by apartment and play fetch! I can be as active (or inactive) with your dog as you’d like. If they are well socialized, I enjoy taking pups out and about with me to breweries, coffee shops…
