Allie watched our 3 dogs and cat for part of our honeymoon. I felt completely at ease and knew they were having a blast the entire time. She sent photos of each animal multiple times a day & keep me updated on what they were up to without me following up! I even got a text message from our neighbor telling me how amazing our pet sitter was doing :) We will definitely stay in contact with Allie and have her back for future trips.

Pets warmed up to her super quick! Allie made as much time for my two dogs and two cats as she could, handled medication, and always updated me when her schedule changed. We're very happy with her work, especially since it was the first time our dogs were watched by someone they didn't know and caused some trouble as a result, which she handled well!

We absolutely adored Allie! She sends so many updates on the doggies, cute photos, and goes above and beyond. We could tell in each photo how much the dogs loved her because they were always happy and smiling. We are using her again in the future 1000/10 recommend ?

We booked Allie for a couple of days drop-in visits to take care of our cats over the labor day weekend. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. Her communication was prompt and proactive, and she gave me detailed updates on the cats including photos. She even made friends with my younger cat Mylo and they had some playtime together!

I was looking for someone to walk my pup for an hour on occasion while I’m at work. I chose Allie because I enjoyed what I read on her profile and she was very sweet. I had explained my dogs behaviors on walks, how she can be barkey, and situations that we tend to avoid (children and excited/hyper dogs). When we met up to hand off my pup for her walk with Allie and Allies dog, I was very excited for this because she was so kind. She originally charged me for her half hour rate despite the walk being an hour which I was thankful for due to financial reasons. About a half hour into the walk, I received a message from Allie upset that I didn’t warn her that my dog was afraid of large dogs because she ran off and Allie had to spend 15 minutes chasing her down. I didn’t tell her my dog was afraid of big dogs, because I’ve never had that experience, most of the dogs she knows are large breed (over 100lbs), so that’s unusual behavior. However if the dog is overly excited, she doesn’t like that, which I stated previously. I asked if she escaped her harness, which has also never happened before. That is when I found out that they were at an off leash dog park. This was very upsetting and nerve racking for me (and I know the incident was very upsetting and nerve racking for Allie too), as we didn’t discuss my dogs off leash behaviors. Allie was upset that my dog wasn’t listening to her commands. This was my dogs first time meeting Allie, so of course she’s not going to listen to the commands of a stranger trying to chase her down. Which is why I was hiring someone for a walk, not an off leash dog park experience. I’ve hardly even taken my dog to the dog park myself and have only done so when 1-2 other dogs are there and seem like calm dogs, and I follow and watch her like a hawk. She is a 13lb chihuahua, and was taken to an off leash dog park with different size dogs of different temperaments. Allie blamed me for not disclosing these behaviors and wanted to charge me double for the inconvenience. I was upset because we never discussed her off leash behaviors due to not knowing she’d be going to an off leash dog park. I was only describing her on leash behaviors because I was hiring Allie for a walk. Allie did name the park they were going to, but did not use to term “dog park” or “off leash” so I assumed they were going to a park with a trail or something for a walk, as that’s what some of her walkers in the past have done with her. She assumed that I knew it was a dog park. Due to Allie bringing my pup back safely and she seemed happy, I’m not knocking off all the stars. However, in the future please make sure you’re covering dog parks and off leash behavior with a pet parent, and in the future I know to cover those basis with walkers that I hire. There are a lot of dogs who won’t trust people that they just met and off leash is not a good idea for those dogs which is why these things should be discussed. Allie did still end up charging me extra for the inconvenience which was upsetting due to not even knowing this wasn’t going to be an on leash walk.

I’ve had big dogs for years, and I’ve never met a dog LOVER/ ‘whisperer’ like Allie. She loves my dogs as much as I do, but has full confident control of them. I absolutely recommend her for dog walking and sitting! (And cats too!!)
