We unfortunately had a not so great experience with one of our dogs who wears a belly band for marking. When we got him back, he had severe skin infections where his belly band sits and had to take him to the emergency vet within hours of picking him up. At no point did the sitter inform us of the problems Bennie was experiencing. We have had other sitters from Rover manage his belly band without issue prior to this, so I was disappointed to learn from the vet that his sores were a result of his soiled diaper not being changed for an extended period time while we were away. Our other dog who was in the sitters care during this time (no special needs) was not affected. Most of the reviews before booking mentioned how they received daily photos. I did not proactively receive any photos or updates while the dogs were in sitters care for 9 days. Hate to leave a not so great review but we are unfortunately out of pocket hundreds of dollars for vet bills as a result of this stay.
Allie was a great sitter for a 10 day stay for my high energy 1 year old dog & my daughter’s older dog. She was very accommodating to allow an extra night to drop off early.
Allie was great. We have used her twice now. She had to deal with our neurotic dog during the fireworks. She may not want us back but we would def use her again.

Allie did a great job and was very flexible with drop off and pick up arrangements. We added an extra day to stay on our vacation and she was able to accommodate that.
