I am currently working as a substitute teacher, so my schedule is very flexible. I would love to fill it up with more pet care!

I have a 2 year old, black terrier/pitbull mix, so his care is already at the center of all that I do. I live in an apartment, so frequent walks are vital to keep him exercised and entertained. We do have a small dog park in the complex. I love taking Lakota to the Pitts Dog Park, Edwin Warner or 2 Rivers. His best friend’s name is Alfie who lives in my apartment complex. I take him a few days of the week to my apartment and the little dog park here to play with Lakota for a few hours. He also has a friend named Henry who we visit a couple days a week. We go over to his house to play for a couple of hours while his Dad is at work. He has a fenced in backyard.

A typical day
If I’m at home, I will utilize the trails at Ellington Agriculture Center to walk your dog. I will also use the little dog park at the apartment complex. We love to play with toys and I have lots of treats and bones if your dog likes or is allowed to have them. I can also take your dog to dog parks if this is advisable. He or she will have a built-in best friend with my dog, Lakota. Lakota is very social and playful. He has lots of energy to share, but he can also be a great couch snuggler. I love to stay active but I also enjoy bonding and snuggling with your buddy.

- Please let me know about your dogs temperament and tolerance for other dogs. I would also like to know if they have any medications and if they can have treats or bones. How are they around other dogs when it comes to feeding/eating? Do they like to sleep with their human or do they prefer the couch or crate?
