Again, I am a full-time pet-sitter and dog mom and I’ll treat your pets just like my own. I understand that animals require care around the clock. I do my best to meet their needs so I keep my walking and drop-in hours open from 7 A.M. to 9:30 P.M (with respect to my own dog’s needs). I am happy to discuss any of your pet’s special dietary, medical, or exercise needs either in person or over the phone before I watch your pal. I need to know about meal time practices, potty schedule, and sleep routine. I always offer walking, play, and outside exercise so if your pet likes any of those, we will need to discuss locations, weather conditions (hot and cold precautions specific to your pet), and preferred timeframes. Although I try to meet in person with new clients, I have had short-notice and emergency situations where the owner is only able to leave a key and care notes. I can do that too! I will send regular updates on your pal, but please do not hesitate to call or message anytime about your pet or booking.

I have built a 600 square foot dog boarding facility on my 3 acre property. I offer six spacious and climate controlled indoor kennels (5’x 8’) with attached, partially covered outdoor runs (5’x10’) that your dogs can have access to via their own dog door anytime during the day. Your dog will have 80 square feet of their own indoor and outdoor space. A single kennel is large enough to accommodate: • 4 toy/small dogs (under 25lbs) or • 3 small to medium (25-50lbs) or • 2 medium to large dogs (50-100lbs) or • 1 extra large/giant breed dogs (100+lbs) My boarding price is all inclusive. Boarding includes: • 2 x daily (30 minute) supervised group play times and/or walks for compatible dogs • 1-on-1 playtime and/or walks for non-compatible dogs • 3 daily supervised potty breaks in addition to play times • Supervised meal times (you provide the food and special treats) • Daily Rover “pupdate” with pictures • Medication & supplement administration (if provided) • Cozy raised beds, food & water bowls, blankets, toys, treats, and lots of love. Proof of 3 core vaccinations is required for boarding with me. Required vaccinations are: Rabies, DHPP (Distemper), Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Unfortunately, I am unable to board unvaccinated dogs. I highly suggest that your dogs be current on their flea and tick medications. Unlike commercial boarding facilities, your dogs will be exposed to real grass and vegetation on my property. I have my yard and facility sprayed for pests monthly with a people, pet, and plant friendly formula that is designed to eliminate mosquitoes, fleas and ticks, but there is always a slight possibility of contracting fleas and ticks from nature. If your pet stays with me, I will host them with the same rules, commands and potty breaks they are used to at home. Consistency is key with making pets feel comfortable, safe, and happy! A meet and greet is not required for boarding with me, but you are welcome to schedule a time to come tour my boarding facility. Pictures of my boarding facility will be posted in the photo section. And I can also send you a video tour via messenger.

Information Allie O. would like to know about your pet

When boarding, you will be asked to provide your veterinarian’s information in case of emergency. Also in case of any emergency, Rover provides emergency pet and home insurance (Hence the 20% service fee that is deducted from my compensation and your daily rate). The 20% deduction in my compensation is also why I only accept payments through Rover- I care about your pets as much as you and I want them to have any emergency costs covered!

A typical day

This is my daily schedule for dogs that board with me: 7:30 AM: Morning potty breaks then supervised breakfast in kennel 8:30 AM: 30 minute group play or walk (if compatible*) and individual play or walk (for non-compatible pups) 9:30-1:30 PM: Rest & relax in kennel (Lunchtime if applicable) 1:30 PM: 30 minute group play or walk (if compatible*) and individual play or walk (for non-compatible pups) 5:30-6:30 PM: Supervised dinner followed by individual potty breaks 9:30-10 PM: Supervised potty breaks then bedtime *All group play and activities are based on your dog’s activity level, age, and compatibility. To be considered compatible, your dog will be assessed when meeting my own compatible dogs before being slowly introduced to other boarding dogs who are also considered compatible.

Pet care experience

Pet-sitting is my full-time job so I am completely focused on your fur-babies and mine. I understand what it’s like leaving my dogs in the care of someone else while I take a trip so I strive to give you the peace of mind I would want. My main goal is to keep your pets happy, healthy, and safe while you are away. I have been caring for animals through Rover since 2017 and this experience has evolved into a unique skill and rewarding career. I have plenty of experience in all aspects of pet care to include: Basic dog-training skills, caring for elderly animals, working with high energy animals, young animals, small and large livestock, horses, reptiles (even hermit crabs 🥹), post-operative care, administering medications and topicals, as well as entertaining spoiled-rotten animals and the good ol’ boys. I like to think that I have seen it all, the good, the bad, and the messy. But I remain on my toes and always welcome a challenge (you know who you are 😂)

My dog had a great long weekend boarding with Allie! We also loved the convenience of the drop off/pick up option. Allie sent us updates and pictures so we could check in on Ginnie!
