I work full time at a nature center, but I'm free in the mornings and evenings on work days. On my days off, I like to get a little outdoor recreation done, but I'd love to bring your dog along! If your pet is more of a couch potato, that's ok too- we can curl up and read a book together. I am not currently accepting longstanding weekly bookings.

Each animal is different from the next, I don't want to provide a blanket statement regarding their care. What makes one animal comfortable could make the next uncomfortable! I will take the information you provide me with on your pet's likes and dislikes and use that to make sure they have the best time with me!

Let me know about all the little idiosyncrasies of your dog! Do they love trying to chase birds? Will they freeze up if I try to cross a bridge with them? Anything like that- I would love to be able to keep both your dog and myself comfortable for our time together!
A typical day
One of my favorite parts about the Adirondacks is all of the beautiful places to walk! I am an avid hiker and would love to bring your pup on a hike, or just a casual stroll around the block if you've got an older dog that's not up to something challenging. I also love running- let me know if your dog likes to run and I'll bring them along!

Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals pretty much my whole life! I grew up having multiple cats around, and started dog sitting on and off when I was in middle school. After college, I dog walked and pet sat full time for a few years, and I've been doing it as a side gig for the three years I've been in the Adirondacks! I live a pretty active lifestyle so I love long walks and can even run with your dog or take them on a hike. I am decently strong so I can typically deal with strong leash pullers. As far as my own pets go, I once had pet rats, and I have also cared for madagascar hissing cockroaches and honey bees, so I have a soft spot in my heart for the “creepy crawlies” as well as traditional pets.

Alli is always so great and helpful with both my girls! My one cat recently was diagnosed with diabetes and she had no problem stepping up being able to administer insulin when I have to run out of town. I can’t express how thankful I am knowing my girls are safe and taken care of!
Alli showed up every day for my cat Ziggy and took good care of him. You can rest easy knowing your pet is in good hands. Strongly recommended!
Alli took wonderful care of our sensitive and temperamental pup for an evening while we were visiting LP. She was patient and loving with him and was a great communicator. Bowie loves his new friend and we are so grateful!
