I am an avid animal lover and developed my love for animals as a child. Throughout my childhood I had many pets that I grew up with as well as years of volunteering at an animal shelter. Growing up with pets allowed me to learn responsibility, compassion, patience and respect. I treat your furry family member as part of my own family with love and keeping them safe & happy during their stay in my care :) My compassionate nature allows me to be in tune with what your pet requires. I enjoy lots of walking, playing and outdoor adventures! I have experience taking care of dogs (ranging from large, medium & small breeds), cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, fish and more! :) All animals are welcome and I'm always up for learning how to take care of any animal that I don't have experience with. I live in the perfect neighbourhood with lots of quiet safe streets, many beautiful parks and the city is our playground! I will send you lots of photos and videos of your furry family member for your peace of mind and post the photos/videos on my social media page (I will ask permission before posting anything to social media). I work from home so I will be able to give your furry family member all of the walks, attention and affection they need! I strive to make your pet's stay with me a vacation with lots of adventures while you are away having your own vacation! You can have peace of mind while you are away as I always practice safety measures that I have gained through my experience for you to be re-united with a healthy, happy family member when you return. I will spoil them with lots of love, pets, play, walks and cuddles during their stay with me!

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure that all gear (collars, leashes, etc) are on before we head out the door for our walks. I'm aware of the environment & any other people, dogs, squirrels, cars, bicycles, etc during walks to anticipate behavior & safety.

Alison is absolutely amazing! We’ve had a few walkers before, but she is by far the most thoughtful and caring. My dog absolutely loves her and looks forward to their walks every day. Even though I’m often busy and rarely see her in person, she always takes the time to send me the sweetest updates and little details from each walk. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my pup is in such good hands. Highly, highly recommend — we’re so lucky to have found her!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Alison was with my 9 year old black Lab Olive. Olive has many issues, very aggressive skin cancer chief among them. She’s on so many pills (due to the complications of chemotherapy) and my partner and I were truly anxious (and terribly guilty) that we needed some very long overdue vacation time as we’ve been focused on Olives treatment and vet appointments for the past several years. To say I was having serious doubts about leaving for a two week vacation is an understatement, but all my fears were TRULY put at ease when I found and met Alison. She was incredible. Her diligence to get as much information as she could about Olive and her meds was so amazing, as was her diligence of making sure Olive took them. She is also one of the nicest people, so caring, super positive and truly loves animals. Her dog Harley is SO lovely and gentle and super happy… and it’s a testament to Alison as a pet owner. She really did treat Olive like her own, and Olive really loves her. On a personal note, Alison also completely understood how anxious I was about leaving, and made sure we got lots of pictures each day. She was in contact with me daily with updates and if she had any questions or concerns she reached out right away. This made a world of difference, and allowed us to truly have a relaxing vacation knowing Alison had it covered with care and commitment. I can’t say enough how grateful we are to have Alison as Olive’s new sitter… and Olive is grateful she now has an “Aunt Alison” and new gal pal Harley! Thank you Alison and Harley… we are truly thankful for everything and look forward to seeing you both more! - Jason, Kirk & Olive.

Schedule
I work full time from home and I am either able to come by for a visit, walk or work in your home depending on which service you & your pet would most benefit from!
