Hi there! I am a fear free certified Dog Trainer with a passion for animals of all sizes. Growing up, I had the opportunity to live with and care for a variety of animals including livestock, dogs, cats, pocket pets, aquatic animals, and more. In my free time, I cared for dogs and cats residing at the local animal shelters, providing them with loving attention and exercise. I have also fostered dogs and cats of all ages in my home providing them with a safe, loving, and enrichment-filled environment until they find their forever home. Throughout my stay, you can expect to receive daily updates covering their activities and overall well-being. This can include written updates, photos, or short clips of their daily activities. I am skilled at administering medications as needed and can provide specialized care for your pets. I follow your daily routine strictly and provide mental stimulation for both cats and dogs to ensure the smoothest transition until you return. Allegra is very dedicated to taking care of all types of animals including cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens. She truely cares about their welfare as well as there basic needs. Being reliable is a very important part of caregiving and Allegra is very conscientious of her role. If you give her instructions on what needs to be done, she will follow them to the letter. Lastly, she loves animals and provides them with lots of interaction (and cuddles).
She has watched our critters for a couple years now and has done a wonderful job. She communicates clearly and has always been on time. If she has questions, she’s not afraid to reach out and ask. We also appreciate that she takes the time to send me and my husband frequent updates and cute photos!
I have known Allegra for over 10 years and she has always been extremely responsible, respectful, and professional. She has watched my dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, and other critters for me when I have gone on vacation. I have a rescue dog who is extremely nervous with people. Allegra took everything at my dog’s pace (slowly and carefully) and never pushed her. Now she looks forward to Allegra’s visits when I go on vacation! Highly recommend!
