I have 25 years experience taking care of small dogs all the way from puppyhood to seniors in delicate health. I raised 2 adorable yorkies of my own since they were puppies all the way through to old age with dementia, heart disease and collapsed trachea. I have extensive experience taking care of senior dogs that require lots of extra care and comfort and diligence. I am very attentive to details and will ensure your little dog(s) get lots of play time, attention and care, and is safe. I do not have any pets of my own right now, and no kids in the home. I am by myself so they will get my undivided attention. I only keep a pet (s) from one family at any given time so I can give the pet my undivided attention and the pet feels safe and secure. I also fully understand that need for you to feel secure and confident that your babies are safe and happy while you are away. Happy to discuss all needs and details and accommodate.

Alka is my pup’s and my new favorite person! I am so thankful I found someone I trust to take care of my Yorkie, Clover. As the owner of a recently adopted 8 year old Yorkie with a few health issues , leaving him with someone new was stressful. Alka immediately put my mind at ease. She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout his stay. He looked so happy, relaxed, and genuinely loved❤️. I couldn’t recommend Alka more highly.
Mickey had a great time with Alka. When we went to pick him up he had trouble deciding who to cuddle up to.
The absolute best! I would not leave my dog with anyone else. She goes above and beyond all the time and my dog absolutely loves her. If you are thinking of booking with Alka, 100% do it.
Alka was extremely professional and communicative. She sent several photos and videos each day of the stay and responded very quickly. I could tell my dog was very comfortable with her and well cared for. She only keeps one dog at a time so you know they’re getting the best attention possible.
Alka was very good with sending me updates and videos of my dog throughout his stay! Felt very comfortable leaving him with her and would definitely return to her for my dog’s stay.
Cannot recommend more! Will be re-booking in the future

Schedule
I am home all day, 7 days a week so your pups will get my undivided attention and lots of potty breaks/walks/playtime. We can also go to nearby parks as a treat, My schedule is very flexible and I can adapt it around your pup’s needs. I only book one pet at a time - I feel it’s better for the pet and allows me to give the pet my undivided attention.

I live in a condo building that is very safe and secure. There are lovely walking paths outside my condo and parks nearby. During walks, safety from other dogs is my utmost concern.
A typical day
Playing with small toys. Gentle tug of war with soft toys. Rolling a small ball around the house. Talking to the dogs (they love that!) Cuddle time Let them sit at the window and bark away
