Hello! I’ve recently decided to join Rover to help around the Chicago area. To me, animals/pets are a gift. Since I was born we always had a family dog. I had a Yorkie named Willy I got in first grade, I was very shy and he was my best friend growing up, I was never alone with him by my side. I volunteered at a couple animal shelters a few times a month when I was younger and always got recognized for how the animals would take to me. I’m a very easy going, energetic and understanding person, just being around animals brings me joy. I would love to help you keep your dog or cat active, happy and satisfied everyday :) I'm currently working part-time (3 days a week, 25 hours) so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm currently. ***I started Rover in Arizona in 2019 and have been moving and figuring a lot out since then so my responses haven't been the best previously but I'm finally settled down and fully committing to this as a side job for me and promise to respond promptly :)*** I have a small fenced back yard. I live in Bucktown so I'm pretty lucky to even have that. My pup loves it back there!

Aliza and her family were wonderful with Toby. They have a 4 year old son and a dog that Toby was happy to play with. A large fenced yard, daily walks and accomdated Toby's special food needs. Aliza sent me daily updates with pictures and videos. I was able to enjoy my vacation without stressing about Toby

Aliza watched my French’s bulldog every time she was available from 1 night to 10 days when we were abroad. He’s a good dog but has some quirks like swallowing stuff he shouldn’t and face folds cleaning which she managed very well. She was always very responsive when we had questions as well.
Aliza is wonderful! She is compassionate, responsible and attentive to my dog Buck. You can tell she truly enjoys being with dogs. She would even send me updates with pictures without me asking. Buck and I are very happy with her. Thank you Aliza!

A typical day
Depending on where you live, I would find a park close with an open field of grass to walk and run around with them, play frisbee/fetch or whatever toys your doggo enjoys playing with! I also enjoy taking my dog to Montrose Dog Beach, and I am about a 10 minute walk from Logan Square dog park, I'm sure your dog would love either or both as well! And of course I would ask what your dog enjoys and any suggestions/preferences you would have.
