I've been a dog lover since I was a young child and rescued my first dog Xena from the shelter. I am extraordinarily patient and nurturing towards animals and take my time gaining their trust so that a bond can form. I respect the animals' boundaries and get to know them on their terms, which is different for each dog. I have worked with seniors and special needs dogs, and genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes your dog tick!

Aliza is an amazing dogsitter! She was patient and kind with my little senior dog Hank. Aliza has great communication skills and helped Hank feel comfortable as soon as we met her. Aliza sent photos of Hank having fun with her dog. That helped me feel at ease since I knew he was enjoying his stay so I could time away. We were late to pickup since we were at a concert that went long, and Aliza let Hank stay overnight with her last minute. We appreciate her flexibility! Hank can be nervous with making new friends and he was completely at ease with Aliza after a short time. He came home smiling and happy, and I could tell he had a great stay with Aliza. Aliza was the perfect weekend sitter for my 55 lbs, 2 year old Aussiedoodle. She gave my dog more attention, playtime, toys, car rides, and dog park exercise than I do. She was a good communicator, sending daily pictures and videos of my dog. Will definitely book with Aliza again!

Schedule
I have recently transitioned from a career as a union electrician, into a new chapter working with dogs (and other animals!) Animals are my real passion, so for me this doesn't feel like work! I do dog walking and dog/cat sitting full-time, so I will have plenty space in my schedule to devote to your sweet fur-baby. I offer daily pack walks in which your pup will get to socialize with other dogs while getting some great exercise, as well as individual walks. I genuinely enjoy what I do and go above and beyond to accommodate all breeds/personality types.

I live in a 1200 sq. ft condo with a long, fenced in dog run onsite. I work from home so I have the time, space and energy to provide the highest quality pet care--this isn't just a side gig that I try to fit into my busy schedule. I can assure you that your pet will get superior service while in my care, lots of love, snuggles and attention--I treat every pet like they are my own! I am also available to come to your residence to care for your fur-babies in the comfort of their own home and keep them in their normal routine while you are away. I'm looking forward to meeting your furry children!
A typical day
While in my care, your pup will be both mentally and physically stimulated by participating in a 1-hour hike everyday, plus 2-3 additional neighborhood walks. While having some down time at home he/she will have the option of playing various dog puzzles, playing with toys, enjoying some snacks, or taking it easy on the couch watching an episode of Shark Tank. Whatever your furry baby prefers, there will be the option of more or less stimulation depending on what his/her needs are.
