The fairy dog mother
I’ve always had a love for dogs. Coming from an African household, I’m not allowed to have my own, so I took that energy into first volunteering. I spent the remainder of my high school years during the pandemic volunteering at the Cobb County Animal Shelter, which then transitioned into becoming a Wag caregiver. If you’ve ever found me on Wag, you know I go above and beyond for your pets. I make sure to update frequently and report anything that seem off. You can always count on me because I’ll make sure you and your pet(s) are happy, never “either/or”!

Safety, trust & environment
Unfortunately I cannot do services in my house as I still live with family and they don’t like pets, but I always take precautions when entering the client’s home and try to build trust with a pet before I move forward with anything as simple as petting. Of course, I’ll communicate with the client if the dog is having trouble getting used to me but it’s no rush!
Ratings and reviews
Aliyah was wonderful! Lots of communication from start to finish, we felt reassured knowing our animals were in good hands. Aliyah kept us updated the whole time. We came home to a happy house.
Aliyah was an absolute godsend after another sitter unfortunately had to cancel last minute right before we had to fly out for a wedding out of state. I was super stressed out about letting someone I hadn’t met take care of my fur baby but Aliyah made me and my husband feel so much better. She provided the best nightly updates and several adorable photos throughout the day. She had the perfect amount of communication with us and was honest about the ups and downs of the day while still leaving us feeling confident that she could handle any challenges that could possibly come up! She even did an impromptu valentines photoshoot with Ducky that brought smiles to our faces after a long day. We could not recommend Aliyah enough! She’s awesome!

Schedule
I work full-time and I work remotely from time to time, so I try to incorporate pet care whenever I’m available. I try to update my calendar for days when I know I will be unavailable with work!
