I am a remote worker in the Fort Lauderdale/Oakland Park area who has been dog walking and dog sitting for the neighborhood for nearly 7 years. I have been around all kinds of dogs throughout my life including large, small, elderly, you name it. I have experience giving insulin to diabetic elderly dogs and have raised two corgis from puppyhood and am comfortable with crate training. I am incredibly active and my partner and I love taking our corgis on long adventures with us and we can ensure your furry friend will be loved all the same. Because I work from home I am able to drop in middle of the day for walks, feedings, and snuggles as well as morning and evening check ins. Whatever you need it, I’ve got it!

I always make sure that the pets that stay with me are comfortable first with my own dog. I want to make sure they get along first and can play with Benji because Benji loves to play. When I’m in your home I take the time to let the dog know that this is their territory and I’m just there to care for them. I’ll sit on the couch and pet them or let them roam the backyard while I play fetch just to let them feel comfortable. Disclaimer: I require more than 24 hours before booking an appointment. I like to do a meet and greet before giving pet services so please be mindful of the time.

Alix loves animals and it shows in how she takes care of others. She is quick to respond and reliable. My corgi is always happy and well walked after she comes to visit, never a short walk for my pup. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of dog walking.

Alix is an excellent pet caretaker. My puppy, Buffy, absolutely adores her and her corgi, Benji. I still take Buffy on playdates with Benji to this day! Alix ensured that Buffy was well cared for and had everything she needed to feel safe and comfortable. She really is one of the best dog sitters on this app, and I highly recommend her for anyone who needs someone to watch their dog or puppy. She goes above and beyond!
