Having grown up with pets my whole life, I understand the messes that can come up. I am thorough and conscious when cleaning up after a pet, keeping them and the environment safe and clean. I know how important it is to build trust with an animal, and that is something I am passionate about! I will take the time to get to know your pet so they are comfortable and happy.

A typical day
I love to play or relax with pets, which I like to tailor to the particular animal! Every pet is different with different wants or needs for level of activity or stimulation, so I'll be happy to run around and play with a toy, or lounge around with a lower-energy pet.

(he/him pronouns!) I have had animals in my house for my entire life and was a helping hand with them as soon as I was old enough in feeding, brushing, cleaning, play, and any other general care! I have spent time pet sitting for family and friends, and through this and other experience working with pets, I can understand the wants and needs of a pet through their body language and other important signs, leading to a stronger and more comfortable connection with them! Additionally, I am certified in Dog and Cat (and Human too!) First Aid/CPR by the American Red Cross!

We so appreciated Alix caring so well for our senior dog Jax!! Alix was very caring, conscientious, and communicative. We would definitely recommend him!
Alix helped us out while we were away and was awesome. Our Hank gets lonely and needs some cuddle time. Alix came over every day and gave Hank all the snuggles. We will definitely have Alix help again in the future 🙂

Alix did a wonderful job taking care of our two fur babies and our home for a long weekend!! Our dog has some anxiety with new people and Alix was very respectful and made sure she was comfortable. Alix was very responsive throughout the stay and I could tell our cat and dog were in very good hands. Our house was left in prestinse condition and Alix was extremely thoughtful and even left a nice note and gift. We would highly recommend and use Alix again!!!
