For the past nine years, I’ve cared daily for my special-needs dachshund, including providing hands-on bladder and bowel expression and giving her injections daily. That experience has given me a particular soft spot for senior and disabled pets—and a deep understanding of the patience, consistency, and dignity they deserve. My animal-care experience also includes fostering newborn kittens and working at an animal sanctuary, where I helped maintain safe, clean enclosures for exotic birds. I’m comfortable with the messy parts of animal care, attentive to changes in behavior, and happy to follow detailed routines. Whether your pet needs specialized support or simply plenty of affection, I’ll care for them as thoughtfully as I would my own.

I understand that every pet—and every family—has a routine of their own. I’m flexible, communicative, and happy to tailor each visit to your pet’s individual needs, whether that means a leisurely sniff-filled walk, energetic playtime, patient companionship, or specialized senior care. I am big on documentation and communication in order to provide the best care possible, so rest assured you will receive that from me during the different endpoints of my visit so that you see they have been successfully cared for. I know how stressful it is to leave your family member in the care of someone else, so I want to make sure you have every assurance I can possibly give you that they are doing alright.

Schedule
My schedule offers an insane amount of flexibility throughout the week, so please message me with the dates and care you need. I’ll always be upfront about availability and work with you whenever possible. Most importantly, you can expect dependable communication, thoughtful updates, and plenty of photos and videos while your fur baby is in my care.

- Please tell me about your pet’s usual routine, temperament, favorite hiding places, feeding schedules, and any known triggers or escape tendencies. I’ll also need detailed instructions for medications, including dosage, timing, administration method, and how your animal typically responds. The more I know about their preferences and boundaries, the more comfortable I can make them and care for them and love on them in your absence! :-)
