My love for dog sitting began with caring for the pets of friends and family! I work from home, so your pup will enjoy plenty of companionship throughout week days. I may be gone 2-3hrs at a time on the weekends, and can take them out for a bathroom break every 4hrs or so. I live in a quiet townhouse neighborhood right next to a bay trail. I love taking pups on a 30min morning and evening walk out there - perfect for pups who love fresh air and gentle exercise! My townhouse has a flight of stairs. I can help assist elderly dogs with a harness or carry pups under 20lbs up and down if needed. I live with my boyfriend, whom pups love to snuggle up with. I’m experienced with pups who are shy around humans or other dogs, giving them patience and space before getting close. I also have several friends with dogs, so playdates are always an option for well-socialized pups. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away!

Alissa is so great! She took such a great care of my needy dog and I could tell he loved her from day one 😅 she was providing me with the updates daily and was so flexible and friendly. I’ll definitely leave my dog with her again next time when I need to travel somewhere. Highly recommended!!
Alissa was so amazing with our timid boy, Moose! He can be slow to warm up to new people, but she was incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding with him. We were so happy to see how comfortable and trusting he became in her care. Throughout the entire stay, Alissa kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was also very accommodating, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. 🐶 It’s never easy leaving your pet with someone new, but Alissa made the experience completely stress-free. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive pet sitter. Moose can’t wait to see her again! 💕
Alissa took good care of Kody and sent us photos daily during his 5-day stay. We could see that he was being well cared for, taken on daily walks, and happy and that gave us lots of peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Alissa.

Schedule
I work from home on weekdays with flexible hours, so your pup will have plenty of attention throughout the day. I typically take dogs on a morning walk, an early-evening walk, and a final bathroom break before bed. If your pup enjoys fetch, I’m always happy to play—and I also have puzzle toys to help keep their minds engaged. I’m flexible with routines and happy to follow any preferences you have!

I believe in a patient, gentle approach when getting to know new pups. I’ve cared for dogs with anxiety and abandonment issues, and I always take the time to help them feel safe and understood. I ask every owner to share their dog’s routines and preferences so I can keep things familiar and comfortable. I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pup needs!
A typical day
I live close to a variety of great spots—bay trail paths, city walking routes, and multiple dog parks. I love taking pups to different areas to explore and, if permitted, to safely socialize with other dogs. I’m always up for fetch sessions, and on weekends I can take your pup on a hike for extra exercise if you'd like. I also have interactive puzzle toys on hand to give them fun mental stimulation.
