Fear-Free, Vet-Level Care!

Hey! I’m Alissa, and I’ve spent over 4 years loving on animals through doggy daycares, a humane society, and now as a vet assistant. I’ve worked with pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities— from bouncy puppies to sweet senior pets who just need a little extra TLC. I’m especially experienced with older pets and those with medical needs, and I always take a gentle, low-stress approach to make sure they feel safe and comfy. Got a shy or nervous pup? No worries—I’m super patient and all about building trust at their pace. I also enjoy helping young dogs learn the basics (like sit, stay, shake, and lie down), and I can even trim nails for those who are chill with it! Whether your pet is playful, sensitive, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own and do my best to keep them happy while you're away.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

When I care for pets in their own home, I try to keep things as normal, safe, and comfy as possible—like you never even left! I take the time to get to know your pet’s unique quirks, routines, and favorites so they feel totally at ease with me. I stick closely to your instructions, whether it’s feeding schedules, meds, walk times, or just knowing which toy is the real favorite. For seniors, shy pets, or those with anxiety, I use a calm approach and let them take the lead so they feel safe and respected. I’m totally cool with alarms, crates, and all the little home details, and I always treat your space with care. You’ll get regular updates and cute photos from me so you know everything’s going great. I hope to make every animal feel relaxed, happy, and most of all loved.

In all honesty Alissa is an animal whisperer. They love her! I’ve seen her rescue injured animals and nurse them back to health. She’s gotten dogs who don’t trust people to calm down and give her hugs. And what makes her really good with animals is that she has so much love for them! I trust her more than anyone to care for my pets!

can't recommend Alissa enough as a pet caregiver—she is genuinely one of the kindest and most selfless people I’ve ever known. Her love for animals shines through in everything she does, and she treats every pet as if they were her own. Whether it's making sure they’re safe, comfortable, or just showered with love and attention, Alissa always goes above and beyond. You can feel completely at ease knowing your pets are in her care. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to have her—both animals and humans alike.
