Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile. I have a deep affection for dogs and would feel privileged to provide the same level of care and love to your beloved companions as I would for my own. I have more than two decades of animal care experience, including pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family members. I have made more than 100 animal friends since I started offering my services on Rover a few years ago.

Alissa took incredible care of our dog, Gus! She spent tons of time playing fetch with him in her yard and made sure he was comfortable while we were away. Would absolutely book her again!

Our dog, Hebert, absolutely LOVES staying with Alissa and Rich! They are flexible, communicative, and take such great care of him. Bonus: Alissa captures the best pictures of all his adventures! Whether it’s running in the yard, exploring the neighborhood on walks, napping on the couch, or “playing” with the garden hose (aka biting the water lol) - so cute and they always bring a smile to our faces!

Schedule
My husband, Rich, and I primarily work remotely for nonprofits based in DC, allowing us to give a lot of attention to your dog. We have a 4-bedroom house with a fenced backyard that's ideal for energetic play and fetch. Your dog will undoubtedly feel like they are on vacation while you're away! Please inquire to see if your needs and my availability align. (I open up my availability about one month in advance but feel free to reach out earlier and even if my calendar says I’m unavailable.)

My top priority is ensuring the happiness and safety of the animals while also reassuring the client that their pet is well-cared for. To maintain a safe environment, I only board one or two dogs from the same family simultaneously. For those who are concerned about COVID-19, my husband and I are fully vaccinated and have received all booster shots recommended by the CDC.
A typical day
Please let me know what activities your pet enjoys most. I am happy to go the extra mile to make sure your pet is stimulated and having a great time. If welcomed by the animal, I will give them pets and belly scratches to help them feel loved while you’re away.
