Highlights
Pet care experience
Yes, I like dogs more than humans!
I've been surrounded by 2-3 family dogs since I was an infant. My family has loved a small wiener dog to a big, beautiful rough haired collie, to a medium sized mutt. I added my sweet and sassy Lola to my family in 2024, and I can’t imagine life without her.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Alissa did a great job with our pups! She was communicative and gave them all the love while she was there. Definitely will book again with Alissa!
Alissa is reliable, responsible and caring. I always feel very comfortable whenever she looks after our cat and dog. She provides me peace of mind when we are away, knowing our four legged family is well cared for!
Alissa has grown up with dogs her entire life (26yrs) I was a certified vet tech for 25 yrs and she often helped me caring for our dogs whether that included feeding, medicating, helping with nailtrims, anal glands or bandaging an injured paw. Alissa's love for dogs is insatiable. When my husband and I would go on long trips she would dog sit.Alissa also would dog sit for a former employer ( boss) on multiple occasions.Alissa is very dependable and punctual and responsible Alissa would make an excellent member of the Rover team!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for dog walking, popping in to check on your pups, and house sitting. I am an early riser and am available for daily walks before work if necessary. I consistently work on Saturday mornings at my part-time job, but I am willing and able to house sit on weekends when most folks would love to have a date night or take a few days to themselves.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I treat other's pets as my own. I do my very best to respect their preferences for their pet when it comes to toys, treats, play, sleep schedule, etc. Since I do not have a pet of my own, I love the pets I watch as if they are mine. Every dog is different and I love figuring out what makes each one tick.
Pets
A typical day
I would love to stimulate your dog's brain with a brisk walk around the neighborhood or to his/her favorite park. We can work on basic commands, like walking well by my side. We can stop and smell the roses or interact with other furry friends along the way.
