I keep a secondary lead on me in case a collar breaks, as well as training treats to keep their attention with me. While working in a boarding facility, I have been in a multitude of situations where I have had to de-escalate dog fights. So rest assured, I'm not afraid to get in the middle to keep everyone safe.

Pet care experience
I have had pets since the day I was born, cats being my first pets. Since the age of 12, I've obtained a lot of personal experience handling animals of all kinds, cats, dogs, rodents and reptiles. I have extensive experience working in a dog/cat daycare facility, which includes feeding and medications, basic baths, group enrichment play, and one-on-one play time. Working in that environment also gave me an abundance of cleaning knowledge when it comes to cleaning up after fur babies. My promise to you is that I will always care for your pets as I would want my own to be cared for, with compassion and consideration.

Alissa has watched our pup twice in the last few months and she has been so great with him. She was very attentive and communicated with us frequently during our trip.
Alissa is an amazing person when it comes to animals. During the time I’ve lived with her, we’ve had a total of 9 different animals. She has had a good range of expertise with animals since we’ve grown up with them, this includes dog care experiences along with many cat care experiences. I think she would be an absolutely amazing fit for anything that deals with animals as they hold a special place in her heart.
Alissa watched my dog Milo who had seizures. She was very responsible for giving Milo his medicine on time. She also was very calm and knew what to do when milo had a seizure. I would trust her to watch my pets anytime!!!
Alissa D. Would be an absolutely wonderful pet caregiver. She has had many pets including dogs cats ferrets mice and more while growing up. She now has 2 cats 1 dog. Alissa is a loving caring person.
