PLEASE READ MY BIO BEFORE SUBMITTING A REQUEST:) 1-2 week notice required for new clients- a meet and greet is mandatory My name is Alissa, and I love to be a dog's best friend. Accompanied by my little dogs, Toto and Daisy, I would love to provide a safe and happy environment for your pooch. I am a certified bather technician with the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists. I can preform baths, ear/eye/bum cleaning, nail trims etc. Toto and daisy love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and they have never shown any aggression. We are close to so many walking trails and love to go for woodland walks! We make sure to bundle up if cold and drink plenty of water. Any dog in my care receive walks, cuddles, treats, toys, playing, and they get to sleep in my bed, their bed, the couch, where ever they would like really! They always have access to a warm spot to curl up. When the dogs are let outside I always accompany them, they're never out alone. Dogs are my passion in life and seeing them happy is one of the greatest joys I can have! I would love to have your dog as our guest! I want your dog to have the best stay possible, so I do require a meet and greet in my home to ensure that all dogs are safe and happy. ** I will host puppies not yet fixed, no unfixed adult dogs. Dogs must be relatively calm, my home is small and my dogs are small so they have to be calm and friendly. Kennel trained dogs are ideal. I need to ensure all dogs are safe if left home alone, so therefore they need to be comfortable being separated from my 2 dogs who are kennel trained. My dogs are up to date on rabies, lyme, lepto, and kennel cough vaccines. They are treated monthly (year round) for fleas and ticks using K9 advantix II.

Could not ask for better care of our dog while on vacation. Well cared for and I’m sure our dog loved it too ! Perfect for a small dog or any dog ! Lots of pictures and communication with Alissa. I highly recommend Alissa.
Fantastic experience having Alissa watch our dog for a long weekend! Alissa arranged a meet and greet for her dogs to meet Leo before we confirmed anything, and her dogs were sweethearts. She sent me updates and pictures over the weekend, and Leo came home happy and tired :)
Alissa is amazing! Sasha was so happy there, it's impressive as she usually doesn't take to other people. I am very happy with the care Sasha got and I will definitely book with Alissa again. I would HIGHLY recommend her as a sitter.

Schedule
I work Mon to Fri, I work from home 3 days a week, and have every 3rd Monday off. I am home on weekends and holidays. My partner works shift work. There are some weeks the dogs have someone home all day every day. We have a schedule that accommodates our 2 dogs well. This does mean that if you book Mon to Fri there could be days (maximum 2) that your dog will be left home alone from 730am to 4pm while we are at work. This requires dogs to be comfortable being left home alone, no destruction etc. I am able to move my WFH days around so for example, booking thurs-mon i could be home the entire visit! This is an adjustable component depending on timing/shift work/work from home and i am happy to discuss this with you upon booking :)

Our guest dogs are safe, happy, and free to do as they please. They're supervised closely in my fenced yard. We have a lead to tie out if needed for safety.

Your dog will get cuddles, walks, toys, treated like a member of the family. We can go to the beach, lake, park, wherever theyd like!
