I grew up around pets and currently have a Mini American Shepherd named Gracie, so I understand how important routine, exercise, attention, and companionship are. I specialize in in-home pet care, including overnight stays, drop-in visits, and dog walks. My goal is to help pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment while keeping their routine as familiar as possible — from meals and walks to playtime, medication, and one-on-one attention. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and careful to follow each pet’s individual routine, instructions, and preferences. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a significant responsibility, so I prioritize clear communication, thoughtful photo updates, and consistent care throughout each booking. I’m based in the Milwaukee area and serve surrounding communities. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort needs to keep their environment familiar and stress-free. I pay close attention to details like feeding times, walking routines, medications, and any special instructions so they feel secure and well cared for while you’re away. I’m also very respectful of your home and make a point to clean up after both myself and your pet throughout the stay. I keep food and water areas tidy, wipe up spills or pet messes, take care of any dishes I use, and generally leave things neat and orderly. For overnight stays, I’m also happy to follow your preference for bedding — whether you’d like the bed left made or the sheets stripped before you return.

we had a last minute cancelation and Alissa responded very quickly and honestly she should have been our first choice. She was amazing and went above and beyond. My cat was comfortable with her and she was very accommodating to all our requests. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to leave their baby and have them be in good hands.
Alissa was awesome with Walter! She definitely was able to meet his high energy breed’s needs and sent us great updates throughout her stay. Our home was left very clean, which we hugely appreciate. Thank you!
Alyssa was absolutely amazing. When we had the meet and greet, I loved her from the very start. We have two Maltese, which are tightly bonded to my husband and I, not wanting anyone in our space. But with her great communication skills, loving and kind personality, she had them cuddling up on the sofa soon into the day. We enjoyed messaging her and receiving pictures from her. she is a wonderful person and would love becoming a friend of hers! I highly recommend her, she would be my first choice having her as a caregiver for my dogs.
Wow!!! Alissa is the absolute best!!! We got really lucky finding Alissa after a few let downs in the pet sitting world. Alissa sent us updates and photos like we asked. She would send us little updates on Ranger each day. We could tell when we got home that ranger was really well taken care of. I can't begin to tell you how much better our time away was knowing our sweet pup was in such good hands. Alissa is a total pro and doesn't mind dealing with a 10 page note of instructions and tips. She is beyond willing to work with your pets specific and sometimes quirky needs. I would hire Alissa again in a heartbeat!!!! You and your pet will be the luckiest in her hands. 10/10
I truly cannot recommend her enough! She took such amazing care of my dog, Frankie, and went above and beyond in every way. She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Frankie and wasn’t just checking off a list of tasks. She even took Frankie on a long walk that wasn’t expected, just because she wanted to, and I know Frankie loved every minute of it. Coming home knowing my dog had been so well cared for meant everything to me. Frankie can be particular, and I don’t trust many people with her, but after this experience, I honestly don’t want anyone else watching her if she’s available. She treated Frankie like her own, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you so much! ❤️🐾
Alissa was great! She really came through for us at the last minute so we were able to enjoy our concert stress free! She kept us updated, and was prompt with her communication! The boys loved her!

Schedule
My weekday availability is primarily after 5 PM, with limited early-morning availability before 8 AM. I also offer weekend care, including overnight stays Friday through Sunday, along with weekend drop-ins and walks.
