Pet care experience
A loving home from home with lots of space
I have had dogs as pets all my life (and if I had the chance I would have a house full of them!) I currently have an aging (12 years old) cocker spaniel who (typically for a spaniel) is still full of life. I live in a barn in the countryside, so have lots of space inside and out. I also live near a farm, so while the garden is big, it’s not 100% fully enclosed, so any dog that stayed would need to be OK with farm animals or have excellent recall. I have a 5-year-old who’s very comfortable around animals, but would be less happy with overly boisterous or noisy dogs. My dog is allowed upstairs and on the sofa and bed. For my dog’s sake, it would be better if any dog that stayed slept downstairs - just to avoid any nighttime territorial stuff. I am at home all day, so would always be available to care for any specific needs or wants your dog may have. I’m happy to care for your dog in the way I’d hope my dog would be looked after - with love, care and kindness.

Safety, trust & environment
I want any dog staying in our home to feel comfortable and at home. Our dog is allowed upstairs and on furniture, and am happy to allow visiting dogs the same freedom. To ensure no unexpected territorial issues, it would probably be better that visiting dogs were happy staying downstairs.

Alison was simply amazing. This was our first time of boarding our dog, Zico and we were a bit nervous. Alison provided him with such a loving and caring environment and took him for walks which Zico loved very much. Can't thank her enough.
Alison and her family were great with our dog Ludo, when she looked after him for the day.

Alison and her family treated Joopy like their own dog. So much love and care. He went on many walks and had amazing grounds to run around at there gorgeous home. Alison kept in touch regularly, sending cute pictures of their adventures with Joopy. Thanks so much Alison for having him at such short notice. You are now a second family to him 🥰

Schedule
I am at home all day so am available to walk dogs at any time. I have to pick my daughter up from school at 3 and have occasional after school clubs, otherwise I can fit to your schedule.
