Loving Care for All Creatures
As a Houston Humane Society volunteer and proud pet parent to 10 animals, I have a wealth of knowledge about safe and enriching pet care. You can trust me to treat your pet like family, to follow your routines, and to keep your animals safe even in emergencies. I have a deep love for all creatures, and have experience with both my own pets and those in my community. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, reptiles, rodents, fish, and arachnids (I currently own some of each)! I’m happy to drop in for feedings for any pets, or to go on walks! If your animal has any special needs, I’m probably equipped to handle them! Personally, I have a senior cat with diabetes who requires insulin injections, a senior dog with joint issues and extreme dog aggression, and a high-energy tripod puppy. My experience at HHS has exposed me to a variety of other medical conditions, disabilities, and strong animal personalities. Let me know your unique needs, and I’m happy to provide quality attention to your babies. Part of my commitment to your animals means stepping up during any unforeseen circumstances. Accidents happen, and I’m happy to clean up pet waste to keep your home clean and keep your animals from tracking mess. In case of medical emergencies that may occur while you’re away, I’m also happy to transport your animals to the nearest veterinarian for treatment, with your permission. I’m huge on communication, maintaining routines, and ensuring the well-being of your animals. I’m willing to go above and beyond to keep your pets comfortable and safe. I can’t say enough about how awesome and caring Alison was for my cat and lizard! She went above and beyond in every aspect of their care. Alison was incredibly communicative, providing regular updates that put my mind at ease. During the hurricane, her dedication truly shined; she made extra efforts to ensure they were safe and comfortable, showing remarkable compassion during such a stressful time. I have Alison watch Leo every time my wife and I go on vacation. He’s a pretty large, energetic dog, but she’s never had any issues with him. He really adores her. She just has great energy and a passion for dogs. I’ve never seen him warm up to someone new as quickly as he did with her. I also appreciate all the pics she sends me when we’re out of town— it feels great to see him playing and doing well. Alison is seriously so sweet, responsible, and genuinely serious about pet care. I’m so glad we found her.
I really recommend Alison for any kind of animal. She was great with my new puppy AND fed my fish lol. You can tell she really loves animals when you meet her.
