Hi, I’m Al! The human behind Al’s 4-Legged Pals! 🐾 Growing up with four dogs (and many other furry friends!), animals have always been a huge part of my life. While I haven’t always had a pet of my own due to frequent travel, I’ve poured that love into caring for others’ pets, through pet sitting for family and friends, as well as volunteering at local shelters. These experiences have deepened my understanding of animal behavior and the unique needs of each pet. As a dependable and compassionate caregiver, I’m here to make sure your four-legged family members feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping them company, I tailor every visit to your pet’s personality and routine. I specialize in calm, one on one attention and respect every animal’s pace, quirks, and preferences. You can always count on clear communication, timely updates, and lots of happy tail wags. I have many years of experience volunteering at shelters with a variety of dog breeds and types, which has given me a strong understanding of dog behavior and safety. Ensuring safe interactions and the well-being of your pet is my top priority.

Alison was super detailed orientated and a very attentive sitter. Any pet would be lucky to have her watch over!
Alison is communicative, timely and accommodating. First time using Rover for our anxious dog. It went as we expected. She was able to walk with him up to a certain point and then he wanted to turn around. So she spent time with him for the remainder of the booking. Hoping he’ll warm up more and he improves on his walks with her.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and currently offer pet care services Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM. (I am currently fully committed from 11 AM to 2:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.) I’m also happy to accommodate evenings or weekends upon request, just send me a message and we can work out the best time for you and your pet!
