Our work from home schedules are flexible with enough notice. When your pet is with us, we will be sure our schedules allow for the safest supervision of your dog. We are child free! Although we may need to leave the home for life things like groceries or meetings, we will do what we can to reduce your dog's alone time as much as possible, especially if they have separation anxiety. After all, they should be on vacation when you're on vacation!

Our beloved now-passed Pit/Cattle Dog mix taught us a lot about patience and love. But finding boarding for him was always very difficult - he was overstimulated at doggie daycares, had a special diet, and needed a quiet home. That is what we are here for - we're here for the pups who need a house and need to be the only animal in the home. We are here for your senior dogs, your sick dogs, and your reactive/ scaredy-dogs. Our house is small, open, dog-proofed, and we have a fully privacy-fenced back yard that we will always supervise your dog in. We can walk your dog minimum once a day, and we love to give car rides if the dog likes them too (doggy seatbelt included!). We have different types of gates to adjust to each dog's individual needs (or no gates!). If your dog is crate-trained, please bring their crate with them, and their favorite blanket or toy. We are very comfortable with administering meds! Cancer meds, subdermal shots, cheese balls, or even the classic "rub the throat" trick. We will take all the photos and send all of them to you. We will update you at least once a day with updates or funny stories about your pup's adventures. We have a toy bucket for every pup to help themselves to! PupCups are included if owner-approved! Finally, we will shower your pup with love!

Please let me know what needs your dog has. We will want to know if they're crate trained, if they're reactive, what medications and schedules they will need to take, and their daily feeding schedules. A meet and greet ahead of their stay will be required for each new client.

Your pup will be on vacation! While we love to laze around, we will take your pup on walks around the block or at one of the many parks nearby. If your dog loves car rides, we will be sure to take them for a pup cup! We will play games in side and rough house outside in the back yard!

Pet care experience
Hello! We are a 2-person, child-free household and currently do not have any pets. We love dogs! We also understand the difficulty of finding boarding for reactive, elderly, sick, and diet-specific dogs. So we are here to meet that need! We would love to watch your extra-special needy pup and give them a vacation during your vacation! Professional and volunteer experience: - 3 years animal rescue and surrender employee experience at the Animal Humane Society. - Volunteer with AHS pet behavior and training courses. -Team Lead for Pinups for Pitbulls advocacy organization. Non-professional experience: - Raised with multiple large dogs in home. - 8 year dog owners navigating life with velcro-dog health issues and reactive dog training. - Regular dog sitter for friends and family. Sitting for multiple dogs at a time, dogs with special diets, health needs, and anxiety or reactivity. special note: We are not professional animal trainers and can not handle dogs who are actively aggressive towards men or other people (reactivity that can be solved by appropriate introduction is fine).
Reviews

Alison & Philip were great! They did amazing with our high energy cattle dog mix. We got daily detailed updates and our dog came home tired from all the play!

Alison and Philip took great care of my 8 year old, reactive pup, Kindi. I appreciated the detailed daily updates Alison provided and could tell that they were not just caring for Kindi but being attentive to her needs and comfort. They did a great job keeping Kindi on her schedule and used to her cues on walks, as she came home calm and walking as well as she normally does with me, which typically takes us a few days to get back on track after having a sitter. On top of their excellent care of Kindi, Alison and Philip were flexible when I had car troubles and brought Kindi to me for drop off. I will be using them again!

Alison & Phil were phenomenal sitters for my 12 year old Australian shepherd, Teddy! He stayed with them for 9 days while I was traveling, and it was such a comfort knowing what capable hands my boy was in, especially since this was my first time using a sitter. Teddy can be quite nervous around new adult men, but Phil’s gentle energy won him over immediately. At the meet and greet prior to his stay, Teddy excitedly ran between Alison and Phil, soaking up all the love and attention. They asked lots of thoughtful questions about his routine, preferences, habits, health, and personality. It was helpful to see the home and yard he would be staying in, and I liked knowing he was going to be the only dog in their care since Teddy isn’t a fan of other dogs. Their attention to detail and ability to put my anxious boy at ease so quickly were SO reassuring. While I was gone, I got daily pupdates with lots of photos, some videos, and a summary of what they’ve been up to. Initially, they sent a morning and evening update, but because everything was going so smoothly, we did just an evening update for the rest of the trip. There was a heatwave and heavy smoke from wildfires several of the days they had Teddy, and they adjusted his routine to accommodate and keep everyone safe. Pickup and drop off were also nice and stress free. All in all it was a 10/10 experience. I will absolutely be rebooking next time we need a sitter and cannot recommend them enough!
Alison has watched my lab, Ralph, multiple times, and I couldn’t ask for better care. He absolutely loves staying at her house! She has a great outdoor space where he can explore and burn off energy, and he’s free to relax inside as well. Alison truly treats him like her own, which gives me so much peace of mind. Every time I pick him up, he’s happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.
