Pet care experience

Reliable, experienced, loving care

We lost our beloved cocker spaniel earlier this year. Abi was 13.5 years old and we had her since she was a puppy…so we have experienced all the stages from high energy puppy to the later stages of patience, peace and quiet including giving the necessary oral/topical medication. Both of us grew up in households full of pets as well, so dogs have always been a part of our lives. We've also loved dog sitting for friends. We are not ready to adopt another dog yet but we miss their company very much and we would love to look after your dog.

Doggy Day Care • Aug 27, 2026

Absolutely fantastic! Ali and Andy looked after our two working cocker spaniels for a day. They were super flexible with times. Very understanding and unphased by our rescue spaniel’s quirks. Our dogs came home shattered and happy! We are very grateful and impressed! Highly recommend!

Doggy Day Care • Aug 26, 2026

Patchell loved his time at doggy day care. He clearly enjoyed cuddles and play fighting. Alison sent us a few photos during the day and when I arrived to pick him up he didn't want to leave. Thank you so much.

Alison and Andy took care of Ivy so well and she had the best time with them. They sent updates every morning and evening and it was obvious she already loved being with them. It was important for me to feel completely comfortable and at peace that Ivy was being well looked after and Alison and Andy are such warm and welcoming people. Ivy will definitely be back for more holidays in the future!

Ali is fantastic — exactly the kind of responsible, caring person you want to entrust your precious four‑legged friend to, whether you’re at work or off on holiday. She has looked after my lurcher many times, and I trust her completely. Her set‑up is perfect: a cosy indoor space for lounging, an outdoor area… also for lounging, and immediate access to the beautiful Malvern Hills, giving her endless countryside to explore with her canine guests. Ali genuinely loves the outdoors, so I never have to worry about my leggy lad getting the exercise and adventure he needs. To be honest, I can almost hear him sigh when he has to peel himself off her comfy sofa and come home — which tells you everything about how happy and relaxed he is in her care.

I have known Alison for a very long time and she has always loved and cared for pets and animals. Trustworthy, dependable and really kind, I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver. You can be very confident about leaving your pet in her hands, in the knowledge they will be given the love, care and attention you would give them yourself.

We are a couple in our mid-50s, who both work part-time from home (we are self-employed, so don’t tend to work to a schedule), which means we have the flexibility to work around the needs of your dog. We understand that different pets/owners have different requirements and are always ready to be flexible – following usual routines for walks / feeding / play time.

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play and relax. We provide a home-from-home experience, allowing all dogs full access to our house so they can relax wherever they feel most comfortable (as per your instructions). If your dog prefers a crate, we have room for you to bring your own crate to give them their own cosy retreat.

A typical day

We live at the base of the Malvern hills, which is our favourite place for our daily walks! However, we can also access lovely fields from our house for a more level walk. With your permission we could also travel further afield for walks…we loved visiting a National Trust site with Abi and of course, the cafes! We’d love to meet you and your dog—let’s schedule a meet & greet.
