Loving, Reliable Cat Care
Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for cats and a calm, caring personality. I believe cats are happiest when they can stay in their own familiar surroundings, surrounded by the smells, routines, and places they know. I especially love getting to know a cat’s individual personality—whether they’re outgoing and ready to be my best friend, shy and cautious, wonderfully independent, or a senior who appreciates a little extra patience and attention. I’m happy to let each cat set the pace and earn their trust on their terms. When you’re away, I want you to feel confident that your kitty isn’t just being looked after, but is genuinely being cared for and enjoyed. I’ll take the time to notice the little things, keep their routine as normal as possible, and make sure you’re kept in the loop while you’re gone. I’m conveniently located in Shoreline/North Seattle and look forward to meeting some wonderful kitties in the neighborhood!
Safety, trust & environment
I primarily care for pets in their own homes, where they’re most comfortable and can stay in their normal routines. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully and make sure every cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime or enrichment, and plenty of attention—whether that means cuddles or simply keeping them company from a comfortable distance. I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life, including dogs, birds, rabbits, fish, and of course cats. Most recently, I spent nearly 15 years caring for my own cat, so I understand how important it is to pay attention to each pet’s individual personality, routines, and little quirks. I really enjoy getting to know animals on their own terms and making them feel comfortable and cared for. I’m happy to care for shy, independent, social, or senior cats and can also help with brushing, medications when appropriate, bringing in mail, watering plants, and making sure everything is secure before I leave. I’ll always send photos and a thoughtful update after each visit so you know how your kitty is doing while you’re away. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

I have known Ally for over 10 years. We both share a love of all animals. In that time I watched her care for her own cat and she has taken care of my dog on more than one occasion. If your pets have any special medical needs Ally is great a following detailed instructions for their care. Ally is a reliable, caring, consistent caregiver and you can trust her with the care of your pets!
Ally P loves creatures, especially cats, followed closely by birds and squirrels and ....... the wild /the tame/ the in-between. She has a giant heart and lets them all in. She is very observant and names the birds that show up at her many bird feeders. No one else can tell the difference between all those finches and chickadees. Ever since I have known her (about 15 years) she has had a cat. A big, beautiful caramel colored boy. He recently had to be put down. I think he was nearly 20 years old. He stayed indoors. She had toys for him, fed him yummy expensive cat food on a specific schedule, had a big fancy litter box which was cleaned daily. He was a truly special cat and is greatly missed hence why she would like to be a cat care giver for Rover. I think she will get another cat of her own in the future. I think she is still grieving and letting things settle so wants to try Rover as she goes forward. She will do an excellent job for you and the cat(s) will be well taken care of. If I was a cat, I would want to live with Ally!!!
Ally is so good with kitties who need soothing and extra TLC. She can suss out the ways a feline friend wants to be snuggled (or not), played with, and offer them extra enrichment on days they are feeling kitty ennui (b/c all the squirrels are outside). She also understands how important communication is and keeps you informed on how your beloved cat is doing. The kitties around Ally feel relaxed and are ready to purr.
Ally is an animal person. She is incredibly caring, responsible, and attentive. She takes the time to get to know a pet’s personality and needs so that she can give them the right kind of attention, and all the love. I have trusted Ally in the past to care for my pets and would do so again. This included giving medication and the extra care that the end of a life needs and deserves. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for someone who will treat their beloved pets like family!
Ally is someone I absolutely trust with my pets. She is kind, caring, dependable, and genuinely loves animals. She is attentive to their individual personalities and needs, and I know she would treat someone else’s pets with the same patience, affection, and care she gives her own. I feel completely comfortable knowing my pets are in Ally’s care and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and responsible.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I truly love being around animals—especially cats! I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to build my day around visits and give each pet plenty of unrushed, one-on-one attention. I really enjoy getting to know each cat’s personality and routine, whether they’re social and ready for cuddles or a little shy and need some time to warm up. I’m available for morning, midday, and afternoon visits and will treat your cat and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own.
