I have always loved dogs and have been around them all my life. I am the kind of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. I am a calm, gentle person and my dog’s welfare and happiness is a high priority for me. Any dog in my care will be treated as one of the family. We allow dogs on sofas and beds and our home is a peaceful haven of relaxation and love.

My dog Sandy took an instant shine to Alison and they became firm friends. She was looked after beautifully whilst I was away, creating a calm and loving environment where all her needs were met. I could go away and relax knowing that my elderly dog was being well cared for. Sandy has recently gone to doggie heaven and I let Alison know. She responded with a beautiful, heartfelt, empathic and deeply helpful reply. I am so glad they both got to know each other. One day I might open my heart to have a puppy, and when I do I am happy knowing that Alison will take care of them when I go away.

Schedule
I work a lot from home so am around during the day as well as evenings and weekends. Our day always starts with a walk in the woods, park or trail and then we chill, play and I work during the day. Evenings are often spent cuddled up on the sofa watching TV before turning in early.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure, medium sized garden and dogs are allowed on furniture and beds. Esme, my 6 year old Cavapoo is calm and sociable and welcomes friends to share the sofa and bed with her. We have toys, treats and chews available to keep everyone busy and happy. Dogs will not be left for more than 4 hours and I will often take them with me if I go out.
