Hi! I live right by the Bow River in an area with great areas to go for walks and plenty of water, which is perfect for dogs who love to explore and get their energy out. I’m a former University of Calgary soccer player, so I really value physical health and staying active. I tailor walk frequency and length based on each dog’s needs—whether that’s long, active walks or shorter, relaxed outings. I live with my boyfriend, who plays for the Calgary Stampeders. He’s currently in his off-season, so he’s home almost every day, meaning your dog will have lots of company and attention. I’ve been consistently dog sitting for the past year and have helped care for friends’ and family’s dogs for several years before that. Although I haven’t been able to have a dog of my own due to allergies in the family, caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I truly love providing a safe, active, and caring environment for them!

We used Rover for the first time and couldn’t be happier for our girl’s stay with Alison. She’s very responsive and gave our pup the attention needed while away on vacation, sending us updates as the trip went on. Would definitely rebook with Alison if we needed a Rover moving forward.
Alison took good care of our dog, she sent us pupdates and photos. Took her out to play, spent a good amount of time with her outside, and gave her attention while inside. It was my first booking on Rover, and first time trusting a stranger with my dog, but I'd do it again with Alison. Highly recommended, thank you for taking care of our pup!
Alison has been incredible with my dogs. When she first looked after our older dog, she made sure all of their needs were fully taken care of. After we brought home our second dog, she was a huge help in making the transition smooth—especially since our first can be a little territorial. Both of my dogs absolutely love her, and I completely trust her with them.
Alison will be an awesome pet caregiver. She has already looked after a couple dogs with loving care. She is a kind soul. She has always wanted a pet but her mother has allergies. She has always ensured that pets that she has looked after to be fed and kept clean. Alison has lots of energy to play and walk, but also enjoys snuggling.

Schedule
I’m currently in between jobs, and since my work is typically hybrid, I have a very flexible schedule. I live with my partner who also works hybrid, so dogs will always have company at home.

Safety, trust & environment
My boyfriend and I have a clean and safe apartment that is also pet friendly! Has a green space in the back for pets to go to the bathroom, as well as a dog wash station. Sometimes we like to take the dogs for car ride or to even my parents house which has a fully fenced backyard for the dogs to run around and play!
A typical day
I love to go on walks so a typical day would be taking a dog out first thing for a walk as well as feed them. I am very active and love playing with dogs as well so always keeping them entertained!
