I work during the day, 5-6 days a week during summer months (allowed a mid day break for potty breaks), with more flexibility during the school year. This will allow me to offer your pet, whatever care it may need. I have weekend and weekday availability.

I live in a home with a big yard, unfenced so I am more than happy to take your pet on walks! I have no other pets in the house, so if your pet doesn’t like other animals, that will not be an issue.

A typical day
I love to take dogs out on walks and play fetch when applicable. Sniffing is very important for a dog which is why I like to take them to new parks, trails, neighborhoods they are not used to for all new smells. I treat your pet as if they are my own, and always send pictures for updates!

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have owned guinea pigs, hamsters, geckos, fish, frogs, hedgehogs, chinchillas, rats and lizards. I am able to work with all different types of animals and have worked with both senior dogs and puppies before. I am passionate about animal care and have researched it throughout my life which allows me to better care for your pet! I rescued a very sick gecko and brought him back to life by hand feeding and daily baths to heal him. I have also taken care of a sick guinea pig who was very old, until he was ready to cross the rainbow bridge.

We absolutely loved our experience having Alison watch our goldendoodle dog, Lincoln! She was very attentive to his needs and loved on him right in our own home. We appreciated the photo updates throughout the day as well. She stayed at our home watching Lincoln and she left the house just as clean as we left it! We highly recommend Alison and will definitely be asking her to watch Lincoln in the future!
Alison watched my 1 year old Boston Terrier for 4 nights while I was on vacation and stayed in my home. I’m always hesitant to leave Brixten with anyone because she’s my baby and has had some close calls in her short life. But Alison took such good care of her, better than I could have asked for! Alison loved and cared for Brixxie like she was her own dog. I was sent multiple pictures every day and I really appreciated that. It was a relief to know that I could relax and trust that my baby was in good hands. I will definitely be using Alison’s services in the future if she’s available!
My dog came home happy. Alison sent pictures throughout the stay. I would use her again.
